Technically you could use 18 - 6 for all three builds. But yes, it sucks.
  2. My Money is that the next 4 slots will come with the coming storm, which would probably be i24 (i23 has us clean up Praetoria). ...So, 3rd/4th quarter this year at the earliest.

    Catalyst??

They are currently Character Bound (the Catalysts, not the ATOs) and would only become Account Bound at BEST.

To the OP: If you have a level 50 character who would like to upgrade an ATO to a Superior Version, claim the Catalyst and enter your enhancement window and select a slotted ATO (much like how you select a slotted SO for combining) and select the Enhancement Catalyst, which will appear on the left-hand side of your screen.

IMPORTANT: After upgrading an ATO, it will be account-bound and cannot be sold. From what I understand, you CAN Email the enhancement to yourself, but not others. In addition, Superior ATOs cannot be slotted by characters below level 50 (or non matching ATs, obviously).

Splitting? I figure the multiplayer aspect will be a significant factor, so I'll be focusing mostly on that - that's why I decided to pre-order rather than wait for a price drop like last time.
  5. He couldn't be WP - WP is fairly strong against Psionics and the Hulk is not.

    Cat Herding

I hate resizing that because it invariably breaks the Badge Progress Bars (and the Incarnate slot progress bars). I just broke down and cranked my Resolution to my Monitor's Native value - 1920x1080.

  8. Really wish the update to Energy Drain added Defense Debuff Resistance though. 51% without my God Mode is quite low.
  9. So if it's very soon does that mean next week or later this week?

If it's later this week - oh noes weekend shenanigans!

If it's next week - oh noes Mass Effect 3!

I wish the animation was shorter, but remember, this is a Pool Power, which are meant to not be quite as effective as normal AT powers. The animation time is the ONLY drawback to an otherwise fantastic power for Melee Toons (at least for the Scrappers I've used it on). YMMV.
When it came out people were screaming how Regen Stalkers could have 50% Uptime between MoG and Shadow Meld...

Completely glossing over the fact that between them, that's almost 1/5 of their time used by casting these powers.

    loldps
  11. To be fair - I have never bought XP Boosters or Windfalls from the market - I've only used my T9 Paragon Reward tokens to get them, so I feel they provide satisfactory benefit in that regard.

Worth noting that 3 of those 15 seconds are spent activating the power - meaning that you only have 12 seconds left after activation.

This - I only use Windfalls for Shard/Threads and inf - so I use them on Steamroll ITFs and Undergrounds (and sometimes Apex/Tin Mages). Any Salvage or Recipes are just a bonus.
  15. If I'm not mistaken, Resistance mobs (including the mindwashed) have a defensive power that gives them 10 or so defense, which makes things even harder for a level 51.

  17. Only listing one right now - might amend this later:

    - When joining a Task Force or Trial that contains players you have not teamed with before, ensure you have enough time to complete it. (In this case, I take the median time for completion, and multiply by 1.5) So sick and tired of players logging 2 missions from the end saying they'll "be back in 15-20 minutes!", as if the other 7 players are going to slow down at all.

I used to play villains on infinity but I found that it was actually MORE dead when I played (which tended to be later in the evening) so I ended up coming back to Liberty. I'll be moving one toon to Freedom for lolPVP purposes once I get him sufficiently incarnated.

Yes I know about BF's, but you cant spend the entire game under a BF effect, you run out eventually.
Pretty much the reason I've been on a Melee/Veat/Dom bender until recently - my Blaster surged back to the front of my played characters since he has a full attack chain WHILE mezzed, my Defender can floor most mobs tohit, and my Controller has a small army of pets to draw aggro away.

And my Bats/Tarps, which I will get to 50... soon.

Accuracy will always result in me getting hit more - it's basically akin to a -maxresistance debuff reducing a Tankers resistance cap from 90% to 85%.

In short - I'm really tired of being one-shotted by a Vicky when Anti-Matter could barely harm me by comparison (one-shotting in this case is one thousand cuts dot over 2 seconds that I can't respond to in time).

A whopping 40% accuracy bonus only increases final chance tohit from 5% to 5% * 1.4 = 7%, an increase of - not coincidentally - 40%.
But then isn't +Accuracy essentially a small amount of unresistable damage for a defense based user? Why is it completely fair to give accuracy to mobs with no way to counter them, but unresistable damage is so heavily frowned upon?

What I meant by "ANY buffs whatsoever" was prior to I13 (No Heal in Energy Drain, no Energize, no Defense in Energy Drain - the way /EA was in i6, essentially). IOs most definitely allowed.

Well when you say purples do you mean any purples? Damage Purples? Purples after the rebalancing? I'd say the most valuable ATOs (Brute mostly, but also Scrapper/Blaster/Corruptor) would be hovering about 500 m each, with some of the lower valued ones going for 250-400 million (bear in mind that pulling a Defender's Bastion IO would lead many to use converters rather than post).

The market effect these are going to have will be interesting, to say the least.
