    CoP reward buff

As I've said before, I'd like to see a MoCoP SG get a permanent IoP that requires a click to renew every 2 days of in-game in order to have the buff.

Not a chance MoCoP will happen until an IO'd out SG, semi-intelligent members, and Rularuu is fixed.
  2. Mine is "Spawn of Bringer" for my Night Widow, which is a combination of both of my first level 50s, both blueside and redside. They are "Shadow of Spawn" and "Bringer of Nightmare". My Bane/Crab is "Bringer's Nightmare", simply because it was my first VEAT the day they released, which was a week after I got my Stalker to 50.

I'm slightly the same, even being IO'd.

My attack chain is always something like Slash -> Eviscerate -> Swipe -> Strike -> Dart Burst, then Placate and repeat assuming that it was above Boss grading.

Also some people don't like the jump-flip-slice as it looks a bit silly and inefficient.
Personally, I think Slash is the best opening attack for a critical, because you will kill most Minions and Lts with it. I've been playing my Night Widow since day 1 of VEAT release, and I'm quite used to hitting multiple targets with Eviscerate. It does have a long animation time, but if I use it on mob standing over a rescue or escort, I find that I can take out all the enemies in the mob. I am however, heavily IO'd and still working towards my 3rd LoTG +Rech.

As the the OP, if you enjoyed the Widow before branching, then the Night Widow is probably best for you. I got to level 32 then realized how awful I found Fortunatas to be, because the damage output and AoEs weren't on par with what I wanted. (Level 32 occurred in 1 day, I wasn't power leveling, just powering through content, which shows that a Fortunata is quite viable) Of course, all my characters that are level 50 are meleers, besides my first 50, which was a Storm/Dark Defender. On villain side, my first 50 was a Assassin Blade/Regen Stalker, and that may have also had an effect on my choice.

I do however have a dual build for using Fortunata, but I've only SO'd it out, which makes it comparatively weaker than my Night Widow.

I've experienced it with Unai and Maria over in Peregrine. I guess it is affecting NPCs who have new missions.
  6. Isn't the whole idea of a "Master of" badge to show that a group of people have enough synchronization and intelligence to complete a TF/SF in such a manner as to obtain it? The MoCoP wouldn't just be a, "Wow, grats on Mo(SF/TF here), I guess it took you like one post on the forum to coordinate such an effort." If anything, there should be an incentive to a MoCoP for a SG, like I don't know, a permanent IoP object that can be activated to obtain a temporary power?
  7. I'm experiencing graphical flickering, however, mine is because the images begin to corrupt. IE. Random power images start covering the walls, everything begins to turn yellow.

It happened before GR, since I had a picture from earlier this year of it occurring. It's quite annoying when you can barely see walls, see through the torso of an enemy, or have to do an escort.
  8. Ahh yes, I remember this bug. Back about 1 1/2 years ago, I sent a report and got almost immediate GM response. It appears that other people who join your team do not see the waypoint problem, considering the GM teleported me to the door.

Not exactly a bug that I'm worried about or anything, but I have experienced it.
  9. One of the computers I'm running is the exact same computer pretty much, processor and RAM-wise. I've had the same issue when it comes to base editting on the computer, so I can verify that this is indeed a problem.

All of my computer's drivers are up-to-date.

Since I don't have access to that computer at the time, I cannot post a Hi-Jackthis or DxDiag report.
  10. Well, I seem to have forgotten what your Global Rech needs to be for Perma Hasten. I use 3 recharges in my hasten, which I think means that you need to have 95% global rech.

I have around 47.5% global recharge without hasten up. Since I don't have perma hasten with hasten up, I think I have the wrong information.

Normally this isn't something I think people would consider to test, but. . .think about when you are hunting down fake nemesis in PI, or trying to get marcone bosses in Port Oaks. Do you not usually make a bigger team, because it SEEMS like they spawn more. (I say seems because I'm not positive they do. . .)
I'm pretty sure people team up, because every kill, no matter how close, counts for the badge. Same goes for Rikti bombs. More don't spawn because there is more players, they spawn faster because there are less Rikti bombs taking up a spawn point.
  12. I'm laughing right now, because Posi doesn't have a level 50 to show off Arachnos Soldiers and Widows.

When there is a minimal amount of game breaking bugs. (Can't say NO game breaking bugs, because of when AE was released and all the exploits available there, as well as crashes.)

DCUO needn't be a problem. It's a game that has to reach our level of expansions and content, before people go crazy over it. Right now, it's just a bunch of promises they know they can't fully make on the development side.

The trailer for DCUO showed how clunky the physics were anyways. Watch the part where the guy gets punched and clock the time it takes for him to get knocked away. Makes me laugh every time.

I have to agree. I haven't had any of those problems on the Windows 7 RC, but I'm using an ATI Radeon 3200 HD graphics card and a AMD Turion X2 64-Bit processor.

I think they exact opposite has happened with me. I recieved less crashing and my computer actually had less of a load and stayed cooler longer with Windows 7 and CoH.

    [/ QUOTE ]
If they never stop adding new rewards, I cannot have them all. This is a simple fact. It shouldn't be hard to grasp.
If you can obtain the 63 Month badge when you didn't subscribe but for 33 months, you shouldn't be able to obtain the 63 month. They continue to add, because it shows who was here at the beginning, who has dropped the game for a while, and who is new to the game.

You, as well as everyone in this thread, knows they read the veteran rewards to see if a player is new to the game. If a new player can obtain a veteran reward it took me 15 months to get, then it lacks the luster and we can't use that system of finding "newbs".

I think that maybe at a point, veteran rewards should have more "minor" rewards. For instance, like this 66 Month. This will dim down the fire of complaints, because people won't have a reason to be angry that veterans have some "over-powered" or "un-obtainable" veteran reward.

Adding some of the things players have suggested, are something that is generally un-obtainable from a coding standpoint.
  16. Take out Follow Up, Spin, and Strike to replace with Hurdle/Swift, Health, and Stamina.

Melee attacks are totally un-needed for a Fortunata.

  18. And let me using my Mission Architect PDA in my base.
  19. I having played City of Heroes on my Windows 7 RC, have not experienced these problems. Maybe it's just the programs you are running are using bandwidth and RAM? That would slow the downloading and decompression considerably I would think.
  20. I use ESET Smart Security 4, which boots up great and never seems to slow down my computer. The scan times are pretty nice. The only virus which ever got past it (because of my own stupidity) was trojan (which I don't remember the name), so I had to download Malwarebytes to get rid of it.

Back when I had Norton Internet Security and Norton Antivirus it was another story.

Gotta agree...despite the lower defensive values, I had a lot more fun on my Bane (and its second "huntsman" build) than I ever did on my Widow.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm the exact opposite, because of my first 50 villain. I had a stalker, and when I got my Bane to 50 first I thought "Wow, this has been fun story-wise, but wasn't I just playing a stalker?". After that I rolled a Night Widow and had much more fun with my superior tanking and stalking skills.

    Best Solo SoA

After playing both all the way to level 50, I can say that the Night Widow has been my most enjoyable experience. (All this is Pre-AE/No-AE mind you) Bane was fun as the kill a target, placate, kill, stalker play. Night Widow has been my tank/stalker with the softcapped defense.

My test is the "Ms. Liberty" test. You kill Ms. Liberty without popping purples, and see which can survive better and kill her faster. My Night Widow has the most surivability and almost the same damage output as my Bane.

Depending on your type of play, it's really your choice.

I dont suggest Elude, my widow doesn't have it, between your self buffs+Mindlink+plus any recipe sets.

    You'll be fine

I do however HIGHLY suggest Stamina.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not taking Elude is like not taking the "Instant Godmode" button.

But anyways, VEATs burn through endurance at a massive rate, because they are indeed a little OP. They put the game on easy-mode and their only downfall is endurance. It's the same with all the VEATs, and the only fix is putting in end reduc and etc., which is then forfieting damage output.
  24. Bringer_NA

    What demon/?

If I decide to make another MM all the way to level 50 (which is highly unlikely), then mine will be Demon/Dark, Demon/Pain, or Demon/Traps.

Personally, I think /Pain would look the coolest with the Demon set, and /Dark would be overused for a secondary.

If we are talking about the Cryptic Studios cubicles, try the underground.
