Fort and Widow attack chains

I have a lvl 50 widow sitting unplayed for like 2 years, waiting for the day i can bring her hero side as i don't play villain anymore. Now when trying to make her build i'm quite stuck with the attack chain, and since i plan to try a fortunata build maybe, i was wondering what are the best chains available for both ? I'm looking for making a good build with soft cap and high recharge, but i just have no idea how the attacks blend together.

When i was playing her i remember endurance being a major issue, as well as me spaming whatever was up, pretty much So i'm a bit confused especially as the large variety of attacks makes it hard to find the pattern.

Thanks in advance

I hope these help (I'm a bit clueless myself, but as I'm leveling up still I got a fair bit of time to get used to the playstyle I'm going to be using)

I'l be using this to level up a Night Widow (Probably a terrible build but will show what attacks I plan to use)

I just respec'd my (new) Fort for the required 24 respec, and pretty much this.

Aim -> Subdue -> Dominate -> Mental Blast plus Psi Tornado and Psi Scream when there's a big enough group to make the AoE worth it.

I have Stamina but no travel power, and the basics from the secondary (Maneuvers, Mind Link, Indomitable Will, Foresight). Can tank for a bit, esp w/ Mind Link, and dishes out the damage. Good times.

To be honest, my widow, despite being 50, is still at the "fire off the best power that's recharged" stage

That said, I'd also love to know some attack chains for whenever I get round to IOing her out.

I'm slightly the same, even being IO'd.

My attack chain is always something like Slash -> Eviscerate -> Swipe -> Strike -> Dart Burst, then Placate and repeat assuming that it was above Boss grading.

Copy and paste from a document I have saved. Attack chains I've considered in order of Damage per Activation time. Its kind of old, but none of our powers have changed in a while afaik. Global recharge I don't have done, but you can figure it out on your own

Night Widow Attack Chains

FU > Lunge > Slash > Strike > FU > Lunge > Strike > Slash > FU > Lunge > Strike > Swipe
.86/2.1/1.98/1.3/.86/2.1/1.3/1.98/.86/2.1/1.3/.985 in 14.52s = 1.22

FU > Lunge > Slash > Strike > FU > Lunge > Swipe > Strike > Slash > FU > Lunge > Strike > Swipe
.86/2.1/1.98/1.3/.86/2.1/.985/1.3/1.98/.86/2.1/1.3/.985 in 15.58s = 1.20

Followup > Slash > Swipe > Lunge > Swipe
.86/.985/2.1/.985/1.98 in 5.808s = 1.19

Followup > Lunge > Strike > Swipe > Slash
.86/2.1/1.3/.985/1.98 in 6.072s = 1.19

Followup > Lunge > Strike > Gloom
.86/2.1/1.3/1.33 in 4.752s = 1.18

Followup > Lunge > Strike > Swipe
.86/2.1/1.3/.985 in 4.488s = 1.17

Followup > Swipe > Lunge > Swipe
.86/.985/2.1/.985 in 4.224s = 1.17

Followup > Lunge > Strike > Gloom
.86/2.1/1.33/1.3 in 4.752s = 1.18

Fortunata Attack Chains

Followup > Lunge > Strike > Gloom
.86/2.1/1.33/1.3 in 4.752s = 1.18

Followup > Lunge > Strike > Swipe
.86/2.1/1.3/.985 in 4.488s = 1.17

Followup > Swipe > Lunge > Swipe
.86/.985/2.1/.985 in 4.224s = 1.17

Followup > Lunge > Strike > Dominate
.86/2.1/1.3/1.05 in 4.752s = 1.12

Followup > Lunge > Dominate > Gloom
.86/2.1/1.05/1.33 in 4.752s = 1.12

Followup > Swipe > Dominate > Lunge
.86/.985/1.05/2.1 in 4.488s = 1.11

Gloom > Dominate > Subdue
1.33/1.05/.94 in 4.488s = 0.74

TK Blast > Dominate > Subdue
.89/1.05/.94 in 4.358s = 0.66
I have no idea as to accuracy, but assuming not waaay off, it might be a good start for comparison.

It is accurate last I checked. Only thing I didn't consider is Eviscerate. I've never taken it, and completely forgot about the power. At some point I might update my file, but probably not, I'm trying to move away from my widow.

My main single target attack chain is Dominate > TK Blast > Subdue usually,

but because I have high recharge, I can mix that up a bitt seamlessly.

I also throw in gloom and dark obliteration sometimes, along with psychic scream if I need a bit more aoe.

Magisterum- 50+3 Fortunata--Virtue

Lukerion- 33 Emp/Rad Defender--Virtue
Noah Heartily- 34 SS/SD brute- Virtue
Mika Heartily- 50+1 Fire/MM blaster-Virtue

May I ask why? (currently leveling up my widow)

Perma ML
Global recharge: 91.25, with Hasten 161.25
Ranged Defense:50%
Melee Defense:55%
AOE Defense: 47%
Regen: 12hp per
Recover: 4end per
My attacks:
Single target at 50: Sub, Dom, and Gloom. (Tele blast use as a set mule and for when I malfactor down.)
Aoe at 50: Psi Tornado, Dark Oblit, and Psy Wail.

Anyway my recharge is so fast I pretty much machine gun my single target
attacks.

As far as AoE goes Psi Tornado and Dark Oblit are both up in less then 10-15 seconds and Psy Wail is up in less then a minute and 30 seconds.

I also have confuse up in less then 10 seconds per cast.

I am not done with the IO sets I want nor do I have my accolades.
I don't try to gimp my fort by trying to be a troller. My fort is built like a blaster with amazing defense.

If you want to built your fort like a troller roll a damn troller with leadership pool.

Once i19 goes live I will fit in assault from leadership grab vengence and teleport friend.

Thanks for the really pointless "advice."

Maybe people like to play a Controller with amazing defense.

Ironically, as the chains LuxunS posted demonstrate, Soho's Fort is "gimped" by taking ranged attacks instead of melee ones...

eh, melee forts may be awesome for PvE, but ranged forts are pure aweosme in PvP, plus who doesnt want a tank mage? (if your gonna roll a melee fort, might as well go night widow IMO)

Shocking, since a Controller doesn't as easily get soft-capped defense to three positions.

Great name btw bet you are really cool at video games and stuff that does not matter.
Hey, look, this guy can almost act like a twelve-year-old.

FWIW, my forum and global name is my handle from FPS games of days gone by, and it's intended to be a joke. I guess I should be used to people assuming dumb stuff on the internet.

P.S. list the amount of 50s you have in a sig is just plain **** at best any way. *walks away from thread and gets back to playing*
Wait, I though being awesome at video games didn't matter. I'm so confused.

By the way, thanks for the opportunity to report you for posting that last bit. Doing so may be petty, but I'm going to enjoy it.
