Patch notes for build 1850.201007290124.24T2.

Badges

  • Added information to the Help Menu and a loading screen tip to explain that some badges are only granted to Heroes/Vigilantes or Villains/Rogues.

Tailor
  • For Female characters, the Warrior Bottom piece from the Martial Arts pack is available again.

CITY OF HEROES

Powers

Controllers
  • Ice Mastery/Ice Blast – Corrected IO sets allowed. Now accepts Ranged Damage and Slow Movement.

Tasks
  • Independence Port: Fixed a bug in Sister Psyche’s 'Clamor and Destruction' arc that would sometimes tell players to go to a mission door in Precinct 5 (the Praetorian tutorial zone).

Badges
  • The badge “Surging” is no longer ‘Villain Only’ and can be earned by Rogues in Paragon City. Vigilantes and Heroes who have already defeated Deathsurge will be granted this badge immediately.

CITY OF VILLAINS

Powers

Masterminds
  • Chill Mastery – Fixed a bug which prevented you from taking additional powers in the set if you took Ice Blast as your first power.
  • Heat Mastery/Char - Corrected IO sets allowed. Now accepts Ranged Damage and Holds.

Tasks
  • Morality Missions: The other selves in My Other Selves will no longer hang out with the player after their time is done.

PRAETORIA

Tasks
  • Fixed a bug with all contacts introduced through Calvin Scott and Provost Marchand where players would have to click on the contact twice before they would give out missions. This affects the following contacts:
    • Robert Flores
    • Jessica Flores
    • Aaron Walker
    • Ricochet
    • Hatchet
    • Crow
    • Interrogator Washington
    • Interrogator Kang
    • IVy
    • Deputy Assistant of Info.
    • Mr. G
    • Dr. Hetzfeld

Funny, I got the "Deputy Assistant of Info" w/o being introduced. Only ran one of his missions. Had no idea. Maybe cuz I started as resistance?

This was happening, infrequently, with the Tip Missions as well.

I'm sitting here with a Dominator who can't slot one of their epic mastery attacks with IOs knowing that it should be changed to the right classification. How these APP/PPPs made it through all this way to live like this is boggling. Please do hurry, the GR stuff already bores me and I might get bored with this altogether.

Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. Correct slotting will come with some nerfing to recharge and end costs I'm sure.

I really hope they rearrange the order of these APPs, though.

Still no fix to the GOTO command for MMs and no fix for the burn patch for assault bots. At this point I'm thinking these things will get fixed around the same time that navigation bug were your waypoint disappears whenever a team mate zones. You know, the one that's been around for 6 years.

I've experienced it with Unai and Maria over in Peregrine. I guess it is affecting NPCs who have new missions.

Are you guys going to address the fact that two MM APPs don't have shields, Controllers have a duplicate PFF and a pointless Soul Drain, and the other numerous issues with APPs/PPPs?

Controller controls don't count as attacks? I could have sworn the controls on my controllers did damage. *looks at his fire/kin*

I thought Sould Drain boosted the damage of ALL your abilities that do damage?

And your kin needs a long recharge power that buffs damage rather than an attack?

My non-kin Controllers can find a use for it, yes. Outside of kin Controllers how many secondaries can cap damage?

It's not like most Troller secondaries were supposed to have any damage at all. I'm sure some do tho. That said just about every primary has at least intal damage. If you're worried about capping damage on a /control/ AT then I pity you.

Darn I was hoping Burst would be fixed. It accepts disorient enhances but can't disorient. It does KD but can't accept KB sets.
