I've suggested this a few times already but I don't even know if this game even allow a real Jump and Kick to happen.

What I mean is making Eagle Claw a 20'-30' range attack but instead of shooting something out of your legs (like Focus), you actually Fly, Kick and LAND near the target.

The only thing that is close to this idea is Lightning Rod type of power but you actually have to select an area first.


I think it will be a fantastic buffing idea for Martial Arts as it lacks any real advantage over Dark Melee and Energy Melee as ST Damage Set, and it fits the theme very well too.

What do you guys think?

Odd. I get it near 100% of the time when I alt-tab out, usually to my internet explorer (edit: while zoning or logging in/out). I *never* get it in instances the other posters mention when I *don't* alt-tab out of the game.

I'm so used to it that when I alt-tab out while switching characters, my second keypress for the password is to hold backspace down for a few moments, as it'll clear the 110101030385756whatever for the password.

editedit: Of course, now that I've said that, I can't get it do happen at all. Mmmm patches.

I used it to send my alts reminders and notes and I have tons of emails from ex-patriots that have quit the game over the years and such.

26 pages... have we gotten any confirmation this is WAI? As someone who has played since launch I can tell you they didn't used to act this "flighty" but mostly it's just a detriment to their own ability to fight back. So I shrug and take the freebie.

You get a health boost akin to the recovery boost through energy drain. It works off the amount of opponents you have in range, like energy drain.

Wow, I can't really predict. I think you would lose a decent chunk of players, maybe more than Statesman said we lost due to ED and GDN nerfs. Lots of people ranting about, "you took my stuff without giving me anything!" and lots of doofs arguing the old, "everything belongs to them anyway so [censored]" line of reasoning.

I bet a few would sell things at cheaper rates and such but mostly folks would try and hold out with what they have up at the old prices. Is there any reason to doubt we'd just end up right back where we are?

I've no idea what your goal for giving good advice is but, if it involves getting it out to a larger amount of people then I heartily endorse a change of tact. If you just want to dispense good advice with backhanded jibes and put people off then, stead the course.

Probably the fact that confuse duration is insane at base.

I know in WoW, over the weekends a while back you could sell "salvage, kinda" (Herbs and Minerals and such) for extreme highs on weekends declining sharply as Sunday night approached. During the weeks that stuff could drop so bad you would eat your socks. Meanwhile, crafted and rare sell-able items (recipes/crafted IO's, kinda) were cheaper on the weekends and skyrocket over the week. What's all this to do with CoX? I dunno actually, it's not very analogous to CoX. doh... All I know is we used to get sad when the weekends, ends.

In CoX there seems to be more stuff on the market over the weekend and the natural tendency is to undercut a bit to guarantee a sale or, simply, supply goes up demand goes down. Unfortunately we get wild spikes due to things like double xp weekend and AE farms creating wacky ripples throughout the game so where we should have an influx of suppliers providing commodities in the market and lowering prices instead we get a bunch of trophy 50's trying to kit out and get out.

Err, so, weekends I think make things cheaper with spikes you can generally avoid if you don't "BIN."
