Question on Random Rolling.
35-39 is generally considered the best, financially.
(And now that they've weighted the rolls, 12 buys is generally a lot better than one Luck of the Gambler, financially.)

35-39 eh. ok then. cool.
I'm not really needing any IO's atm, so i'm looking for cash so i can buy stuff you can't get with merits. I started a little crafting business on red side. need to get off my butt and finish off my badges on blue side (still need to do the 50's.)... and random roll after my TF's.... maybe even try PvP.. (trying to change up my play style. Less alting since i'm running out of ideas and more accually lvl 50 play..)

Two popular ranges are 35-39 and 40-44.
These are both popular because they can catch recipes that you can't get otherwise as a level 50. For example, 40-44 not only get the stuff that runs up to level 50, but can also produce things like Miracles, Decimations and Impervium Armors. 35-39 can catch additional recipes that cap out at level 35, such as Entropic Chaos. However, you do have the situation that the more level ranges you open up, the more "pollution" you get in the pool of possible drops.
I'm not 100% up on current pricing, so I am unsure whether adding the stuff that ends at level 35 brings the average up or down. I tend to shoot for the 40-44 range.
Going lower doesn't seem especially useful these days. There was a while where 10-15 was a really good bet, mostly because of the price of Basilisk's Gaze. After a while that dropped and the value there faded. I haven't checked that for a while, though.

One nice thing about Rolling in the 10-14 range is that the only recipe that will drop at 50 is the Zephyr KB protection one - all the others will cap at 30, and the I13 recipes help inflate the pool a bit.

Crafted, Basilisk quads were about 70 million recently and the proc around 20 (I think).
Do you guys big Gold/Silver/Bronze?
I've been burned so many times on expensive Gold drops , that lately I've just been doing a ton of Bronze drops. Sure, 90% of it was trash, but that still puts me at a better average than with Gold drops. Plus, amide all the trash I still get the occasional gem. Maybe not something I can use, but at least something I can sell for a quick 20 mill.

Buy rather than big?
Unless the toon is in the 30s, I buy Bronze. I choose the lower end of things when the character gets into the high forties, since a number of nice Pool As that cap at 30 are fairly rare. I also like to slot the two Steadfasts and Karma -kb on nearly every alt and get them for my sg-mates, and low Bronze produce a lot of these.
Like you say, Bronze *seems* more lucrative on average. It also seems more fun to me, 'cause MORE RECIPES.

Bronze all the way. The others seem like a giant waste. The key is to know which ones to delete while you are sitting at the AE ticket vendor counter. Delete the chaff and roll more bronze.
I wish the market had a "top seller" list for what IOs were going highest lol I guess that would be a waste of Dev time to produce though.
Especially when anyone on the Market forum can tell you.
A few specific PVP IO's (Panacea, maybe the +3% Defense one, maybe the PBAOE -Res one.)
Followed by the trendy purples (Ranged, melee, both AOE's for starters.)
Followed by LoTG and the Numina/Miracle uniques.
I'm pretty sure nothing in Pool A is in the top 50 most expensive items that actually sell.*
* There are ten Luck Charms and one level 20 Miracle up for 2 billion each that I'm aware of. I don't expect anyone to buy them any time soon.

Regen Tissue +regen may slip into a top 50, but only just
@Catwhoorg "Rule of Three - Finale" Arc# 1984
@Mr Falkland Islands"A Nation Goes Rogue" Arc# 2369 "Toasters and Pop Tarts" Arc#116617
I'm pretty sure not. There's a LOT of 50-million-inf crafted items these days, and I had the impression that Regen Tissue wasn't in that group any more. When I was lookin for high-value stuff to generate commissions, I moved about two of them and decided it wasn't worth it.

I like to roll at an AE near a quartermaster and sell to them rather than delete, but honestly that's pretty much chump change in the long run. Then again... maybe it adds up. I never tracked it or nothin'
For the first time in 5 years, my alt-a-holic tendencys are going into remission. It's an odd feeling, but i find myself running more and more TF's with my 50's, and making fewer and fewer alts.
This has lead me to be in the situation i feared i would be in when merits were introduce. 27 lvl 50's, all with merits ranging from 5 to 30 or so... not able to buy anything, but not played enough to really save them either. Saving on a new guy is easy, and what i've been doing. But when tfing, i kind of go with the flow, if the team needs a tank, i tank. A defender, i defended. Damage, I blast or scrap. When it doessn't matter, it's the enney meainy minny moe system... >.> <,<
So, i suppose from this point on, with meh 50's it's random roll time. And now finaily here's my question...(i ramble)
Where is the best lvl range a 50 can pick to random roll for selling purporses?
