Front/Middle/Back spawn points not working?
Mine work fine. They are in the same locations as they were before the patch. What maps are you using?

The only indoor map I know of where Front/Middle/Back is broken is the President Marchand's Office map that was added for issue 15. Makes it rather useless really as your endboss can spawn anywhere across 4 floors no matter what you set him to.
I only had time to test a few of my missions, but the locations actually seemed to work better with today's patch. I set all my ambushes to spawn in a different zone than the trigger, but until today they always spawned right next to the trigger.
Nah, the problem appears to be that you can't have different kinds of things spawn on or near each other anymore. I had an early room with a couple of destructible objects with ambushes guarding an ally rescue to "make you work for it" on the ally but now they can't spawn on or near each other and seems to just throw the spawns out willy nilly around the map when you do so. :/
I assume this fixes some farming thing where objects all spawned in one location for blaster AOEs or some crap....
I met an odd thing whilst editing a mission after i15 went live. A boss spawns in a room where there ate NO spawn points at all according to the map. No Xs, no Os, no collection triangles, nothing. It's quote annoying.
The map is Unique Maps->Banks->First National Bamk 02

The Audition, Arc ID 221240 (6 mish, complex mech, comedy)
Storming Citadel, Arc ID 379488 (lowbie, 1mish, 10-min timed)
I've noticed the spawn points not working even prior to i15. Maps which clearly allow for spawns in a given area will periodically not spawn properly. If set to "Back", the boss spawns in the "Middle".
I've also noticed that allied ambushes do not work properly. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I had /bugged both of these issues some time before i15 went live.
While showing the map locations is nice, it would be much better to allow us to set the locations ourselves by clicking a point on the map.

Yeah, prior to i15, the spawn points on many of my missions were out of order and I had to swap "Middle" and "Back" to get things to spawn where I wanted them. Hopefully they haven't fixed that, otehrwise I'll have to edit those missions yet again.

I'm having this exact problem. I've tried tons of different maps, map sizes, objective types...you name it. I'll strip the map of every single objective and event, then just place one objective in the "back" location. Without fail, it appears in the middle or even front.
This bug makes telling my story pretty much impossible. Events meant to occur in a particular order will just pop up willy-nilly all over the map.
Test the maps. While the spawn points for object are messed up on some of them, they are usually consistent. Once you know that Middle on a map means it will actually show on the Front, just take that into account when placing objectives. It takes some extra time, but it lets you tell your story. And remember that mob spawns are separate from object spawns, so they need to be tested on their own. Also, there is no Front, Middle, or Back on Outside maps.

Stacking objectives on the same spawn point has always been a bug, one that they fixed with the i15 release.
When they fixed it, they had two choices: Make it so that any arc that had more objectives than spawn points spread those objectives into valid spawn points, even if they were in a different front/middle/back zone, or invalidate all the arcs that had more objectives than a zone's spawn points could accomidate.
Doing the latter would lock out a LOT of arcs, and not just farms. I think they made the better choice.
@Roderick
Sure, but taking away creative options still sucks [censored].
They locked out a TON of arcs last change, who gives a [censored] if they do it again? The behavior is already established.
They had more than your "false dilemma" of two choices. They could have left existing but broken missions intact, like they did for older non-AE maps that got changed, Shadowhunter and his Wolves with and without timer for example.
Also, stacking objectives are NOT a bug in dev created content which is where I got the idea from in the first place. Check out a certain Luckless arc Villain side that stacks a glowy inside a giant forcefield making you chop through the forcefield to get the glowy.
Woot, this is all better and fixed now, tyvm devs?
Setting locations for allies, bosses, glowies etc. to front/middle/back doesn't seem to have any effect after today's patch. Is this intended?
Kind of ruins the flow of my story...
