How many years was he stuck in that containment suit after the Rikti War? And the only thing he takes off now is his helmet? Right...
I think he takes off other parts of his suit during server outages in the seedier parts of Paragon, if ya know what I mean... -
I hanged out near the mission start for bit semi-afk, and I saw several NPC civilians wander by. They walked faded out a short distance away - very weird...

I still think that Ms Liberty is heading down the road to becoming a Vigilante, if not an out-right Villain. I mean come on, sinking civilian oil tankers en route to the Rogue Isles? She hit that one off Port Oakes so hard that oil splashed on top of several buildings in the dock area!

My three guesses what would require a written NDA and much more testing than other Issues:
1. Space and Moon zones. They'd have to revamp their game engine, flight animations, etc. to account for variable gravity. Considering how often Positron has said something like "if we redid all the old zones, we'd never have time to create the Moon zone", this is at least a possibility. However, I doubt this would require a written NDA.
2. Replace the Cryptic-created game engine with something newer, such as the one used by Aion. This might also be coupled with:
3. The "Coming Storm" radically alters reality, bending the laws of physics. This is the rational for revising the entire power-system to fix the "mistakes" that devs like Castle have been complaining about. Everyone gets to rebuild their existing characters from scratch using the new powers, while keeping their current level. Think of it as City of Heroes 2.0 without having to leave your current server. -

My flying, dual-blade scrapper Pixie Blade goes out of her way to fight Knives - they've so easy for her, that it's a nice break from other, more difficult mobs.

The only major "running away" behavior that I've seen since GR involves ambushes. Time after time, my buddies an I trigger an ambush, but just before they reach us, all but one of the enemies turns and runs away, presumable to their spawn point.

My villain already had the Monitor Duty day job badge before GR. I switched to Rogue as soon as I could, then earned the Criminal day job badge while logged out in Paragon City. Although I have both of the required day jobs, I have not yet received the Trouble Maker day job accolade.
I tried returning to the Rogue Isles and earning additional credit for the Monitor Duty and Criminal badges, but the accolade still hasn't shown up. I also /bugged this in game.
Anyone else run into a problem earning accolades as a Rogue/Vigilante and logged out in the opposing city? -

Yes, it's a very fine bit of comic book art for its day, but just think how much it lacks compared to the game now. There no reflections in the water, and the shadowing is nowhere near as good looking as Issue 17's Ambient Occlusion options. Just imagine if this scene were redone using Ultra Mode!
Now I realize that Ultra Mode isn't perfect - for example, it does not support soap bubbles. However, I am willing to make the sacrifice, and accept this scene being redone in Ultra Mode without any soap bubbles or suds...

Subjective Feedback: I think the growl emote makes the growling sound a little too often. I'd like to use this as an "idle" animation for my feral scrapper when waiting on teams for AFK members, etc. but I don't want to annoy them with frequent growling sounds.

Welcome aboard!
Since you offered to answer lore-related questions...I've noticed that the Moon does not rise in the East and set in the West in either Paragon City nor the Rogue Isles. Instead I last saw it rise out of the South and set in the North. What caused the COX Moon to shift its orbit like that? Or is it just a graphics bug? -

Welcome! Please tell us more about yourself.
After all, we can't properly harass you until we know what to harass you about... -
Quote:Good point. Along the same lines, how about we break into some warehouses through windows, skylights, or loading dock doors? You know I just thought of this after hearing more 'that game is nothing but warehouse battles.' At least make it more novel.
Add another type of warehouse indoor set and apply it to half of the warehouse maps currently used. Then try to avoid having any more warehouses in new content. -
Way back before the game came out, Cryptic had a contest to name the tallest skyscraper in Paragon City. I forget what the winning name was, but I remember that after I got the game I ran around town looking for this building that was supposed to be so much taller than any others. As far as I can tell, the building never made in - how about adding it now?

Yes, they used to Fir Bolg - freaked me out the first time I saw one of them transform. I have not run a character through there in several months (mostly been red-side), so I was not aware of any change...

I started both Posi TFs on a level 13 with full rest XP, and gained 7 levels by the time we defeated the good doctor. So yes, the XP was good!

I'd vote for the ghost pack. I'm having a devil of a time getting the right look for my banshee character - not enough tattered clothing pieces...

Quote:He's actually been seen by players "in the wild" more often than that. However, since he was laughing manically to himself as he practiced his dual-wield and whip moves while walking down the street, the players wisely turned and ran away...3 times?? Thats it? Am I the only one that thinks BAB needs to get out more?
