1. Everything is available to premiums except Incarnate-related activities. Praetoria and First Ward require a separate unlock, but still accessible (note that this isn't level 50 content). Alignment content is a separate unlock and can be done at 50, and generates some great rewards.
2. Elitism basically doesn't exist unless a particular player is a dolt. Every build is viable unless you've pulled some seriously epic stupid human tricks (all four travel powers or not taking any attacks beyond your tier1 or whatever). Some builds are better in teams than others, some builds can solo standard content better than others, some builds are wildly powerful and can solo most of the game.
3. There are a bunch of oddities regarding upgrading from free/premium to VIP, so best bet is to send a petition.
4. Any enhancement that must be crafted are IOs. Level 25 IOs are about equal to an even level SO. You can do a lot more crazy things with IOs than you can do with SOs. SO builds can be very "cookie cutter". You can access IOs with a monthly fee of $2 (buying 400pp means you can access IOs for two months, with some change left over).
5. PVP can be done from 1-50 in the arena, and can be done from 15-50 in PVP zones. However, PVP is almost completely dead on most servers, with Freedom and Infinity being the most active PVP servers, but even then it's pretty low pop. PVP is pseudo balanced but not really.

This is an issue with vBulletin. Paragon is in contact with Jelsoft, but cannot do anything about it on their end.
Go pester Jelsoft if you want a faster bugfix. -
Quote:No, actually, if you'd read the thread, it's been said multiple times now that "remember me doesn't work" is a vBulletin issue, not an issue with NCsoft's implementation. The random logout bug, however, *IS* an NCsoft issue. But they have no idea how to fix it. (And don't seem to be very interested in investigating it, sadly.)I just want to clarify this. Aside from the long-standing random logout bug, which we've been told is outside of NCSoft's control, there is a new problem that every time I close my browser, the next time I come to the boards I have to log back in again. This one is not random, it happens every time. Basically the checkbox next to the login that says "Remember me" doesn't work. At all. This is new, as of the last couple of weeks or so. Given that it has worked for the entire time I've used the boards up until very recently, I have to believe that is under NCSoft's direct control and can be fixed by them. I haven't seen confirmation that they're even aware of that one and are working on it.
So you've got the two issues reversed. -
Nope, Sonic's big bubble has "sound squigglies" running all around the bubble, and has indistinct little sparklies across the whole surface and occasionally 'inside' the bubble as well. Definitely not Sonic Dispersion.
It definitely does look more like Time's Distortion Field. -

You have to be a Tier 9 rewards level, and be a subscriber. You can then place 1-3 reward tokens in the slots for Tier 9 VIP and get about a third of the costume pieces per slot.
They cannot be directly purchased with money or points, though you can purchase a whackload of points and thereby gain a whackload of reward tokens which might bump you up to Tier 9. Then you need to be a subscriber on top of that.

Quote:Different critters have different level ranges of availability. They obviously didn't change any critters when dropping the level requirement for the patron arcs to account for the five lower levels, and those critters showing up at +5 or more are critters that exist at level 40-50.I did wonder that... but it seems odd that some enemies conned right but the majority were uber-tough. Fortunately we were on a couple of robust cruppers so survived but it's a definite annoyance, and has potentially very negative consequences on less experienced players.
Some critters have a wider level range. Those will show up normally when level requirements are changed, if they still fall within their current level range. -
Quote:Yep. Doesn't make sense at all.Originally Posted by Kelly Uqua's briefingThanks for coming, Character. At first, I thought Timothy was crazy when he said there was a Rikti working at Crey. That is, until I did some digging. I've uncovered the spy's identity: Thornbird. Thornbird used to be loyal to Crey: in fact, he was a Paragon Protector! But lately, his activities have been erratic. I think Thornbird was replaced some months ago by a Rikti who was genetically altered to look just like him. I can't tell the company about this, it would cause an epidemic of panic! It's better if you just take out Thornbird without anyone knowing why. He's leading a research expedition in Primeva.

That does seem exactly what CyWolf said.

Ahh, your comment finally showed up. Hit all the pertinent points. Although you said Premiums have to apply a GR code to get alignment, which is not true; the alignment system can be purchased separately on the market. You also said GR zones are blocked unless you apply a GR code or are VIP, which is also not true; access to Praetoria can also be purchased separately on the market.

I actually did take a bunch of people through the regular sewer network the other day. There was a lot of nostalgia chat.

It seems that your clarification was either deleted or needs approval before seeing it because all I'm seeing is your reply to the idiotic DCUO comment.
That article is so full of fail, it's astounding. Did the OP not do ANY homework before writing it? -
I have rolled several characters on Exalted, with a mind/emp hero up to 22 as my highest. As you get higher, there are fewer people to play with - the vast majority of Exalted seems to be under level 20.
However, I am still spending more time on other servers than I am on Exalted. I have too many characters to focus on one server. -
Premium players can post - but they can only post in tech/bugs and player questions, that I've seen (maybe announcement discussion? no idea). I'd love to see a slight relaxing of the rules but Zwilly seems pretty firm on his stance (or more likely, seems pretty firm on NCsoft's stance).
(Also, they can only make new threads and reply to threads they created, they can't reply to threads they didn't create.) -
They're not available as bundles. They are available if you purchase a Going Rogue box set (not the piecemeal stuff in the market).

Incidentally, XP Booster and Experienced are different.
Experienced is the vet reward that grants 5 bars of patrol XP.
XP Booster grants 25% extra XP for an hour. -
Incidentally, the Oportal hasn't had a name above it since very shortly after its introduction. (It was a bug.)

Quote:There will be 7 "first time" awards - one for each part, so pt 1, pt 2, pt 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 - and then there is a "one per week" award doing ANY of the seven parts. Is the first time award per mission or just the first time you do any one of them?
So a brand new person buying all seven parts (currently valued at 400pp each, so 2800pp...about $35?) would get eight rewards by playing them all in a row, with one of them done twice. -
Incidentally, there have been a lot of trouble with subscription states being updated improperly (either not updating all the details, or not updating at all!) when switching from Free/Premium to VIP. (I haven't seen any complaints from the other direction.)
Your best bet is to submit a petition for GM assistance. -
Your first post lists Beam Rifle wrong. It's a primary set for Blasters and Corruptors, and a secondary set for Defenders. You have it listed as Primary for Blasters and secondary for Corruptors without a mention of Defenders.

I have never heard of a reported maximum.
