Alpha & Omega . . . costumes

They dont appear to be able to be bought as bundles (or even as a single bundle as they used to be). Does anyone know if I'm not looking in the right place in the store? Is this an oversight? Is it working as intended?

(also; wasnt sure if this should go in this subforum, or elsewhere)

Can you buy them through the costume creator? Are alpha and omega listed under costume sets and do they have a shopping cart icon?

You can buy the individual pieces, but not a (discounted) bundle.

I have them unlocked so they show up under costume sets in the CC. I thought the devs would be selling costume sets from there. I just took a look on the market and I don't see the Going Rogue costume sets under bundles. They aren't for sale right now, I don't know if that's an accident (someone forgot to enter it) or on purpose. Maybe they haven't decided if it's 400pts for both sets or 400 each.

They're not available as bundles. They are available if you purchase a Going Rogue box set (not the piecemeal stuff in the market).

I already own the Going Rogue box. I got the pre-order, so I didnt get the costumes. I was always planing on getting around to buying the pack, then Freedom happened & it looked like the costume parts of the booster packs could be bought for less than the booster, so I held off. Ahh well, they are quite small sets, I think if I buy all the pieces seperatly they will still cost less than the pack did (just more than the other bundled sets).

As a side question; if you buy a part in the costume creator, it's avaliable for all 3 body types, not just the one you were on when you bought it, right?

Doh, yeah, I waited for the Complete Edition on launch, myself.

Yes... I believe so. It just brings you to the store and I think that the item should say what models it is for (but maybe they don't).
I want to say "absolutely", but since I haven't bought anything as an individual piece, I really am only making an assumption.

If you wanted everything in the Going Rogue: Complete Items pack, it will be $11.25 USD compared with $7.99 before September.

However, you don't have to get the Shadowy Presence power, so that will save you $0.75.

2 Auras (Alpha, Omega) - 160 PP worth of parts.

0 Costume Change Emotes

18 Costume Pieces (Alpha Belt, Alpha Boots, Alpha Chest, Alpha Gloves, Alpha Hat, Alpha Head Detail 1, Alpha Head Detail 2, Alpha Pants, Alpha Pattern, Alpha Shoulders, Omega Boots, Omega Chest, Omega Gloves, Omega Hat, Omega Head Texture, Omega Head Texture 2, Omega Pants, Omega Shoulders) - 600 PP worth of parts.

2 Regular Emotes (Heroic Stances, Villainous Stances) - 80 PP worth of parts.

1 Crappy Permanent Temp Power - 60 PP.

on the Iron Eagles sg we play "death equals retire". Last char I died on was slotting enhancements in mission, and got hit by an ambush.
Now, I hit shadowy presence before opening enhancement screen. Only other use I've had was hitting it along with rest.
It wouldn't be bad as a ghetto costume change emote...

Hurn . . .

Well, I feel dam silly for waiting till Freedom to make this purchase. Even if I get just the costume parts thats still only a 50c saving over the original pack.

I think I'll hold off buying the costumes just yet, maybe it was a oversight and they will be added as a 400pp bundle at a later date. Maybe.

I have a character who gets his powers from the Nether World, he uses Shadowy Presence for various reasons, like to draw power from the Nether World or communicate with entities there.

I also like the way it looks.

I'm not going to bother buying all those bits separately, but i'd buy a bundle without even looking at them, for completness sake, if a bundle was available, and if the set was listed in 'custom sets' in the CC.

I'm curious where you got this idea. I recall the Devs saying at least once that the pre-Freedom costume packs were a better deal than what would come after. They also advertised when it was your "last chance" to get the packs, and I think they mentioned that it was a better deal again.

Honestly, I never saw those anoucements. I got the idea from what happened to the other packs; being broken down into individual items & smaller 'bundels' that were more cost effective if you didnt want everything that came in the original packs.

Well, nothing to be honest as this is a written forum, so can't hear much if anything at all...

Guess I should have worded my question diffirently, but from what you wrote... yeah, still pretty much useless.
