If you buy/apply Going Rogue before Freedom launches, you get to keep the 2 extra character slots it grants you after City goes F2P. After F2P, Going Rogue no longer grants 2 character slots.

Thugs existed 11 issues before Dual Pistols did (Issue 7 vs Issue 18/Going Rogue). They did not import the Dual Pistols animations to Thugs when DP was launched; animation times are slightly different.

So why, when you have the entirety of the English language to chose from, do you use the word CITY when naming neighborhoods?
There is a neighborhood in Seattle called Lake City. There's probably other towns/cities/metropolises that utilize the same thing. So there is REAL WORLD precedence to name neighborhoods using the word "city".

Uuhhh... BAB is still going to be in Galaxy. Actively fighting in Galaxy, instead of standing around picking his nose. (Which is pretty hard to do with those gigantic gauntlet/glove things.)
  5. It's in the inventions tutorial in a very vague and offhand comment that is very easily forgettable. (especially since a lot of people either don't run the tutorial with all characters, or blind-click through, or don't have alts)
  6. The game is currently subscription based. You have to choose a payment plan (which is a credit-logo card, game time card, paypal, whatever you use) in order to prove that you are good on your subscription. You can cancel before your first free month is used up and you won't ever be charged an extra penny.

Obviously this step will be eliminated when City goes F2P.
  7. Game time cards count as billing information, btw. It's a separate radio button to select in the process.
  8. Awesome birthday pressie! (July 31) AND! I took the weekend off for my bday so HA-HA City! You don't win this time! (It's always scheduled when I have long shifts at work)

If that is true, then the P-wiki page needs to be updated.
It does not need to be updated. I don't know what bug Roderick ran into, but if the leader is over 25 (let's say 50 for ease), and their teammate is (for example) level 12, and is selecting a flashback in the "Protector of Innocents" range (1-15), it works. If they select from any other range, it will not work, since the teammate does not meet the minimum level requirements. If the leader is 50 and the teammate is 44, they cannot choose the "Hero of the City" (45+) level range, but can choose any other level range. Etc.
  10. Why do you respond to someone who has you on ignore? They can't see your response.

    "You know this right?"

By the way, if you respond at all, you do care, at least a little bit. Enough to respond. If you didn't actually care, you wouldn't respond.
  11. No, the slots are categorized that way as well. Your mobo is 1.0.
  12. I'm on Comcast Xfinity internet. I patched on the updater at about 20-100KB/s. I patch on the NCLauncher at about 800-1000KB/s. No joke. So much faster I can't even imagine going back to the updater.

Since I set the NCLauncher to close after use, I don't see its memory leak robbing my system of resources while it sits there doing nothing. Thursdays and any day that patching is announced, I fire it up before going to work and by the time I get home, everything is hunky-dory.

I *HATED* the NCLauncher at first. It had horrible issues, especially the memory leak and crashing problems. I couldn't access anything related to NCsoft (the game, the forums, the account website, NOTHING) while the launcher was running. It still has the memory leak but that is easy to get around. The crashing hasn't happened in months. I have no idea when they fixed the access issue but that hasn't happened in quite a while as well.

I use /r all the time. Global names and character.
  14. If you want rednames to see, it's better to PM one of them.
  15. If you have a space (or multiple spaces) in your global name, try sending it to either @Global_Name (note underscore) or @GlobalName (note lack of space) - test to see if there is a @GlobalName first before sending something valuable to it (you can test by attempting to /globalfriend the name, or sending a test email with like 1 inf attached)

The global mail system is a little weird.

No problem. I always remember /tl when assisting other people and never remember to do it when talking in game. Mistells all over the place due to /r, that could easily be solved with /tl!

It doesn't matter how many people ask for a refund, it ain't happening, especially not this long after the fact.
Has happened. Repeatedly. Reported on the forums to be the case. I remember, specifically, people getting refunds on Going Rogue pre-purchases/pre-orders because the Alpha Slot was pushed back from being included with release.

Uhhhh, no...no, that's not right at all. Not only do the two not look even remotely the same, but they don't play the same either, even if the knockback was changed to knockdown.

It's always about changing the game, which implies changing it for other people. Once you get the "desired" ability to turn off knockback on any character, you can start complaining about -- and kicking -- players who don't slot that way. Peer pressure to remove knockback from the game, a game which should have knockback.
Only d-bags would do that, and City has very few and they are very far between. Nice straw man though! Good effort.

They're in (mostly) alphabetical order. "Damage Resistance" is under R, for "Resist Damage", but everything else is in more or less the right spot.

  21. You can also reply with /r <message>, which sends a message to the last person to message you; and if multiple people are messaging you and you want to reply specifically to the last person you sent a message to, you can /tl <message> or /tell_last <message>.
