Makes me wish I hadn't deleted Darkity McDarksalot, who was dressed similarly to yours but in shiny tights and whose Dark Miasma/Dark Blast (and eventually Dark Mastery, but she never got that high) powers were colored various colors of the rainbow.

edit:

*goes to the character creation screen*

I think it's time for a multicolor hair suggestion.

Anyone up for it or should I be the one to look like a total buffoon ?

It's pretty and all, but what I really like about that travel aura is that it changes its size based on your character's profile (i.e., different fly poses)while flying, and I wish I could get other travel auras to follow behind and do the same, especially Electricity.

Electricity aura appears at your feet, or a few (ahem) feet below you, where your feet were, when you change to a flying pose. I don't like that.

This is because the electricity aura, like most of the other path auras, seems to be anchored a the bottom of your character's render box (or whatever the technical word is for the digital space in which your character exists), not your character's feet. So when you are in flight, while your character is creating an emote, your character's "render box" stays put, as opposed to rotating with your character's direction. In other words, even if you are inverted and flying straight toward the ground, the bottom of the render box will remain the bottom regardless.

My totally uneducated guess would be that the Rainbow path aura is anchored somewhere else, somewhere similar to where the Vaporous aura is anchored. When running, both auras leave a trail equal in height to the height to of the character, but when flying and performing a fly pose, they condense into a single stream. This could also explain why, in the character creation screen, the Rainbow path aura is really the only that is hardly visible until you actually exit the screen and move around.

@Winter. Because I'm Winter. Period.
I am a blaster first, and an alt-oholic second.

That would really help out my circus-themed Assault Rifle Corruptor, Shooty the Clown.

Don't try Rainbow + Beast Run then, you're in for disappointment. It kind of turns into a blobby purple streak.

You could easily be tempted to over do a costume like that. But you nailed it, Fatare! Gorgeous!

If only I could actually find the album with this song, but for song reason NONE of the music retailers are actually carrying it. This makes me sad.
ah, night at the opera, yeah, no idea why it went off shelves so soon, i had to order it. " and then there was silence" was good as well. on the same cd.

For those who don't know, that's the costume that won the 2006 Official CoH Costume Contest. She just got the Rainbow Path Aura (and was so excited).

They took down the page that announced the winners of that contest ( ), but she was on the CoH launcher as an ad for the following year's contest, and I grabbed a screenshot of it:
