  1. Titan Melee screams super to me. Huge Mallet HO! Same with stone melee... Super SMASH!!!!!!!!!!
  2. The game doesn't play tricks on you. It is simply a program. It can only do what it is told to do. Liklyhood is that the context menu did come up, but you didn't notice it.
  3. Isn't EM's Glowing hands concept breaking in most cases?

Go with MA, use some punches + Boxing + Air Superiority + Flurry.
  4. Blue. No matter what happens, if you look for the negative you will find it.

If the developers made a melee set called Blue Centurion's Melee set, you would probably complain that they forgot the underscore in your name. If some one insists on playing a concept character, they HAVE to make concessions, simply because they themselves have limited themselves to that concept.

An analogy that came to mind is some one choosing to be vegan. Is choosing to be a vegan a bad idea? No, of course not. However, because you are limiting yourself to a non animal product diet, you have cannot expect the world to cater to your internal decision. You can no longer eat gummie bears (heh, ever wonder where gelatin came from?), hamburgers, ice cream or just about any baked good (eggs and or milk). Sure, there are some vegan burgers, ice cream and baked goods, but they don't quite taste the same and sometimes taste just awefull. But that is something you CHOSE to do.

Same is true if you decide to be a non weapon super hero. You have personally limited yourself, and must make choices within that bound. Stop complaining that the Mc Donald's isn't making a vegan burger, go make your own, or find a place that does. Otherwise, abandon your concept and enjoy meat again. YAY BACON!
  5. I always do Mako because you don't have to fight an AV and it is very quick.

Dark Melee has no AoE...Kin Melee has no crits on its big attacks...Energy Melee damages you with its tier 9....I used Super Strength for four years, it's good, it gets old...

Be nice if the Devs would put out a non weapon set that was well balanced, on a par with weapon sets, and did not infict serious injury on its user that could be used to simulate super powered heroes/villains who do not use weapons. You know, like in the majority of the comics.
Fire Melee: Don't have to use swords, Scortch -> Cremate -> Incinerate is a great attack chain.
Ice Melee: Again, don't need swords.
Stone Melee: Dont need to use mallet.
Street Justice is not martial artistic
Dark Melee has 3 AoEs and you can even grab fire ball since Dark Consumption cures endurance problems.
Kinetic Melee only doesn't crit on it's tier nine, which the crit damage is auto built into the attack. It hits like a friggin truck.
Energy Melee: 3% or less damage to you with energy transfer. You regen it back with 2 seconds or less.

Really??? This is all you've got? Come on Blue, thought you would have better reasons.
  7. The only difference between 64 bit and 32 bit is the amount of memory supported :/

Why is that going to change anything?
  8. I searched Paragonwiki and looked under each contact for the First Ward. No mention of Selene. Also, nothing in Paragonwiki about Selene.... where did you get the name?
  9. Once you are added to a mob's aggro list, the only way to get off of it is to let them reset or placate them. Which when talking about AV's they for some reason do not reset. So if they kill you, you hosp and then come back into the mission, when you get within range, they will start attacking you again, even if you are hidden :/

Because aggro is in list form, even if some on on the team taunt's the mob, you are still actually in the aggro list, just on a lower rung than the taunter. If the taunter dies, and you are hidden, the mob will still know exactly where you are and attack you again.

Stealth only helps when you have not aggroed the mob yet. On a side note. In teams, when one person aggros a mob, the whole team is added to the aggro list. So if the mob is bigger than 16 enemies, and you follow the person into the mob, some of the mob will turn around and attack you, even if hidden.

So.... yeah this is why it is a hard life for stalkers and they required a buff to AS to help it be helpful outside of hidden... because most of the time you won't be hidden.
  10. Inspirations are cheap and disposable, like ketchup packets. They are given to you everywhere and they start to clutter up your drawers.

If this Insp/Ketchup packet ment so much to you, you could save it in an email, in a market slot or in a base storage bin. What is your global name, I'll send you a new ketchup packet.
  11. Yes Scorp Shield is that good.

If you look at the detailed description of the Mask presence power, you'll see 2 values for each defense Value - on mine these are 3.75% and 7.5% - the former is always on, the latter is only valid when stealthed - it's not half of the value that drops when you enter combat - it's that second value, which you obviously have enhanced up closer to 8% than mine
    Generally half though
  13. Street Justice, Kinetic Melee, Dark Melee, Super Strength, Stone Melee, Martial Arts, Electric Melee, Fiery Melee, Ice Melee or Energy Melee.

    Quest ended.
  14. Only time I had problems was when I had it set on +2. I reset my difficulty to -1 and TAMO! down in 10 seconds.

Nothing else is needed besides -1 and grab some insps from the hosp right next to the mission and TAMO.

    *Then A Miracle Occurred!
  15. Mask Presence, as an invis power loses half it's defense value when stealth suppresses. Works just like Invisibility, Superiority Invisibility and so forth......

  17. It was kinda cool back in the day. I was randomly moving along and, whoah! there is Sister Psi! Wow! COOL!

Also was kinda cool that I knew a 'secret' contact that gave super awesome missions with a team....

Also, only contacts that you have been introduced to show up on the map... and no one introduces you to most of the TF contacts... therefore no contact on map.
  18. Our Very own Zombie Man made a list of what still needs to be proliferated...

Copied his avatar for something cool to click.

    Edit:
Which I guess Premium Players are not premium enough to post pictures, have avatars or a signature >.>
  19. Perhaps Staff Melee's Mode change mechanic?
  20. Maelstrom also does an AoE that hurts PA.

From what I have gathered PA is damaged by untyped damage. (Hamidon is a classic example)

Their untouchable status, which is very similar to phase shift, is type dependent, so if there is no type than the damage still effects them.

I can only assume that the crates in I trials do untyped damage instead of the fire/lethal damage most destroyable things do.
  21. I wonder, to attuned IOs work without a license?
  22. PvP != PvE

[Flurry] is the best attack. Defense is phail. Stealth doesn't matter. Pets are crap. Every single number you have is lowered, Regen, Recov, Recharge, Acc, Dam, Defense, Resist, etc.

The developers could not figure out how to make powerful people balanced, so they just made sure everyone was equally handicapped and made everything crappy.

Also, the Arena does not Side Kick. So if you were level 30 and they were level 50... well you had no chance to begin with.
  23. The taunt IO's chance to stun used to be able to be slotted into taunt aura's, which would stun the user that was fixed

Perf Shifter is supposed to effect the target, not the caster.

The Absolute Amazment Proc does not fire, the Taunt IO stun proc now has a 0% chance for a mag 1 stun. That is right a 0% chance for an already crappy low mag stun. Siphon Insight's proc for Accurate To Hit Debuff either doesn't proc, or procs on the target haven't been able to tell. Numina's, Miracle, Regen Tissue and Panacea procs all effect targets, so slotted in Rise to the Challenge, they effect the mobs around you. However on the same token slotting those procs into Triage Beacon will allow you to proc on EVERYONE in range (minus bad guys ofcourse), every 10 seconds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can also slot Energy Manipulator: Chance for stun into Speed boost to stun level 1 noobs in AP for fun all around !
  24. As with every other thread that asks this question.

    Brute = Higher HP
    Scrapper = Higher Damage

    Choose.
