  1. Never understood how dragging a fight out with an NPC making themselves "unstoppable" made for a fun and interesting fight.
  2. Taking devices is a matter of what your play style is. I love it on my blaster that plays a lot like a long range stalker, for instance.
  3. You're looking for the Beta server, not the Test server.
  4. Farms don't even seem to be that big a problem any more. I just tried getting back into running AE arcs and the two biggest problems I've faced are terribly written/origin "Look at me!" stories or having the profanity filter bug preventing me from playing potentially good ones.
  5. To be honest, I don't think I've ever seen Rain of Arrows miss for me. And I use it a lot.
  6. You do know that you can pull up all nine power trays on the screen at once, right?

Also, we don't "need" any of this. The word you're looking for is "want."
  7. I thought that wasn't Emma Frost, but some random mutant in Origins.
  8. I'm convinced you can find the smallest, least noticeable thing in this game and and blow it way out of proportion, turning it into a massive issue, Sam.
  9. je_saist likes to think everyone should already have a complete understanding of everything about this game, including technical details. If you bring up a valid question or suggestion, you're dumb and they'll show you why.

Anyway, the yellow spawning enemies would be a great addition to CoV. Would allow groups like Arachnos or the Cage Consortium to be on your side, while at the same time giving you the option to turn on them if you wanted to. But the devs have completely shot down the suggestion of using this cool, innovative new tech on old mobs for some reason. No idea why, to be honest, but I imagine it's because old street mobs in CoH/CoV aren't linked to Praetoria enough to warrant their attention.

Might just be coincidence. Only the Olympian Guard are clones of Emperor Cole, and their faces are concealed.

    Backpack Idea(s)

With how badly everyone's been clamoring for backpacks, I'm surprised the devs are only coming out with one very specific-looking one and then not touching the area until possibly I21, at the earliest.
  12. I'm not a fan of Pocket D being our big launch point against the Praetorians. Could we please either get a new, small meet-up zone or at least move the Praetorian portal to RWZ?
  13. Will be ascots be turned into Chest Details, or will there just be two variations of the same jacket? Because I want an ascot costume piece. Badly.

  15. Cut the ridiculous costume segregation out, art designers.

    Seriously.
  16. Headbands for men. It's ridiculous this issue hasn't been taken care of by now, considering how common headbands are for characters such as martial artists, street fighters, etc. But men are only allowed to wear one type of headband with one specific hairstyle, while women get it as a normal detail option.

    Double you tee eff.
  17. Was in the middle of a multi-mission story arc for my SG. Got half way through, established a ton of different characters, RPed them and everything. Then this happened. All the missions I made in advance, nearly all the characters, groups, etc. were deemed in violation of copyrights. Had to postpone the entire story just because of the massive amount of "violations" that suddenly popped up.

Please, devs. Fix this. AE is one of the few things I actually stick around this game for.

    Totally agreed.

That AE map is available, and would be your best bet. Just gotta make an AE mish, set enemy group to empty, and run right on in.

Actually, everything on Lord Recluse is unique. Same for all the other Patrons, save for Ghost Widow who only has a unique face and hair. And technically, the only way you'd be able to replicate her costume was if you rolled up a VEAT Widow.

I wish we had shark parts like Mako
  21. I would absolutely love if this happened. I love running tip missions faaaar more than I do Incarnate Trials, and this system would be a great alternative to them.

Probably everything else this game offers. Tip missions, story arcs, the occasional TF with a few friends (which requires no where near as many as a Trial). The things that don't require 16-24 different people, but instead 1-8.

It's getting a little annoying this mentality of "Well, I like Trials and so should you!" Is everyone incapable of realizing that some people came to this game because they didn't want to grind out on 24-man raids in order to get all the good stuff?

At least with the Vanguard equipment you had two choices that came out at the same time; Run a raid, or run any sort of story arc with Rikti in them. They even gave us entire story arcs that could be solo'd and were plenty enjoyable.
  23. Effing A. All I have to say about this costume crap.

For starters, nearly every single one of those examples you mentioned have been complained about constantly by players. How it's ridiculous you have to earn the right to wear a cape around your neck, run the KHTF to wear that witch hat, etc. etc. This particular case is special, however, because the devs have actually employed tech we've been clamoring for for years; global costume unlocks. But even after going through the trials, earning the merits, and unlocking the costume set for your entire account, it turns out that all of your characters still can't wear them until they hit level 50.

You have to jump through two incredibly time consuming hoops just to wear one costume set. A costume set I'm sure if you showed a picture of to Serge he could whip up out of metal and special hologram projectors for you to wear. It's a little ridiculous.
