Following a catastrophic hardware failure* which has cost me an 80gb drive (bugger!) and required me to get a shiny new Nvidia graphics card I find that I'm not no able to get into the game either on the live server or the test server.

Both sides start normally, take me details happily but when I pick a server the game hangs, sound stutters for a second or two and then the music resumes but I don't get off the Select a Server screen...

Any ideas before I reinstall while the Abyss is on tonight?

Eve - Zombie stomping MA scrapper - Has moved into/taken over a penthouse apartment in Dark Astoria.

Evie. - Sulky NRG blaster - Inhabits the Sisters of Misery base in a disused part of the sewer system.

Bethan - Plant based claws scrapper - Roots down anywhere there's soil but she wants to move into Eden.

My zombie/dark mastermind has her small but perfectly formed base in the voodoo temple she got her powers in... I've not played enough villains to have decided where that is though.

Without the random applications of at least three ice based shields, two or three fire based shields, maybe a sonic one if I'm really unlucky and every single buff a kin has to offer, I'm not sure if I'd survive long enough to buy that recipe or scrap of salvage I'm looking for. There is no need for people to think 'Oh, there's a scrapper, she'll appreciate every single buff I can fire at her while she's shopping'.

'In the field', great, slap them on and layer them up if you want. Surrounded and things going bad? Sure, buff away. Thing is, I can count the number of random buffs that I've not recieved in the AH on one finger!

And this has turned into a rant... sorry.

Suggestion: Every buff applied to a character has a timer that ticks down right? So why don't we have a 'shrug off' option under the right click on the buff icon to manually set the timer to zero?

Ooooh I like this idea! A nice way to bring life back into sadly under used hazard zones. I'm not sure though how Crey's Folly or Boomtown could actually get any worse though.

To clarify Ravenwing's comment, yes, it has been suggested before. Many times.

Exactly how does a stand alone costume creator (I'm assuming it didn't import into CoX) pose any possible breach to Marvel? The only toon of mine that doesn't use brawl is my energy blaster, but then she's got red pom-poms of death and doesn't need brawl.

Everyone else, including my lvl50 scrapper uses it.

This is shaping up to be a good looking set! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished thing.
