Dead quick question for a hungover sunday...

Is the End Mod (might return a smidgen to you) aspect of the Elec powers actually worth slotting for or does it return so little as to be pointless?

IMO its return isn't worth slotting. Though if you slot it in Short Circuit you will really drain your foes

They were appropriately appalled

They're now putting it all together.

with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"

Slot it in Short Circuit and Power Sink, don't bother with the rest.

That's what I thought...

Thanks guys

There was a following for the duracell build elec/elecs a long time ago.

But most people want more damage rather than a tiny bit more end.

I'd say it is worth slotting a lot more end mods. Depends what you want to do wtih the build of course, but at least one end mod in each power can go a long way, and Voltaic Sentinel really comes into its own if you slot it right

I think the answer depends on what you want to do.

If you want to use your blaster to drain as much endurance as possible, slot in everything.
If you want a nice compromise, slot SS and PS fully, and the others with perhaps one end mod.
If you want to primarily do damage, just slot SS and PS.

If you take short circuit ( which you should ) you are wasting it if you don't slot it with end-mod

I disagree. I have it primarily slotted for acc,dam and recharge. I find that the combo of Ball Lightning, Static Discharge and Short Circuit quite an effective AoE combo. When teaming I have found end drain to be mostly useless as everything is dead before it's drained. When soloing I find two holds more effective at taking care of troublesome enemies.

i disagree, I have an IO set on short circuit and the end drain is very noticible, plus, -recovery on the target as well! If i fire it of first and keep attacking they will have no endurance, and no endurance means they cannot attack you. I love it

The usefulness of sapping is debated often enough so let's not get into that here.

I still say the returns from slotting EndMod into the regular attacks is not worth the return even for a sapper build though.
