Aura Delete Option
Or have the aura but have it's graphics surpressed, which I would love for those bonuses you get when finishing mayhem missions at certain levels (bonus is good, but aura is annoying). They can be reduced but they'll always visible, I'd like the option to completely turn them off.
Statesman4Prez I refer you to my post of:
Cancel option for buffs.

I'm getting tired of random people buffing me and armouring be for no reason, so i propose we have an option where you right click on the Buff/armour and have a Delete option.
On top of this, we could have a setting saying "accepting buffs" and "Not accepting buffs" so we can prevent it or go with the buffs by choice.
Its getting quite annoying talking to someone and suddenly your on fire, also, the buff in sonic resonance that repels melee range opponents will make it tricky for Melee AT's to hit opponents up close.
I hope this gets put in game ASAP, I'm sure most of us here will too

Yeah, I just hate being made harder to kill / better at smashing things...

Kerensky: this has nothing to do with underwear
Zwillinger: I put on my robe and wizard hat...
Synapse: I had to resist starting my last post off with "Yo dawg!"
Being buffed up doesn't really bother me, although it does seem pointless when I'm shopping at WW/BM. I would like an option to reduce/eliminate the visual/graphical appearance of all auras without turning down the graphics options for the rest of the game, though. I don't spend ages in character creation/Icon just to have the loveliness of Serge's creations obliterated by a big hummy glowy mess each time I click a toggle.
Apart from the aesthetic and personal space issues, are there any practical negatives with spam-buffs? I am as a toddler amongst giants when it comes to PC techie stuff, so forgive an ignoramus asking what might be a dumb question, but given the not infrequent lag and rubberbanding issues I'm getting on Union these days, would a well-intentioned but unasked-for fire shield/ice armour etc. run a risk of exacerbating those problems?

You dont get the point do you? Its OPTIONAL if you want the buff, then simply keep it and DONT delete it, the post was for reasons of when you DONT want an armour when your NOT in battle.
Nobody says you HAVE to delete your armours, if you want to be buffed up then its up to you.

States, I got that but it's also what I suggested over 2 months ago!

Because the auction house is so dangerous these days.
Without the random applications of at least three ice based shields, two or three fire based shields, maybe a sonic one if I'm really unlucky and every single buff a kin has to offer, I'm not sure if I'd survive long enough to buy that recipe or scrap of salvage I'm looking for. There is no need for people to think 'Oh, there's a scrapper, she'll appreciate every single buff I can fire at her while she's shopping'.
'In the field', great, slap them on and layer them up if you want. Surrounded and things going bad? Sure, buff away. Thing is, I can count the number of random buffs that I've not recieved in the AH on one finger!
And this has turned into a rant... sorry.
Suggestion: Every buff applied to a character has a timer that ticks down right? So why don't we have a 'shrug off' option under the right click on the buff icon to manually set the timer to zero?
That toggle is a bit dangerous, mostly from the forgetting to turn it off perspective, but I agree with the other bit. In fact, I agree with it so much that that was one of the two suggestions I made in the QoL thread GhostRaptor started last week.
Disclaimer: The above may be humerous, or at least may be an attempt at humour. Try reading it that way.
