Just a teeny tiny minor problem... Those types of swords are mainly for stabbing unless my memory is corrupted.
most Chinese swords are used as solo swords, but because of the light weight, they made techniques with it to fight swift and within the flow.
it could be used, since katana's are also used as a dual sword, but IMO it would fit better within the katana/ninja blade set.

So's a rapier, unless my memory is likewise corrupt.
Rapier's are a stabbing, slashing weapon, but not in the way DB uses them.....but they DO look very cool

Let's not go there.
It causes headaches.(we also got the short daggers which in my opinion does not with with DB... which also ruins the whole no shield/db tanker reasoning with clipping since the short daggers lo... as I said... headaches)
So ehem... Would be rather nice to have swords like that but since they seem to be stubborn about clipping and animation these days... Eh not very likely probably.

Why don't daggers fit the DB thing? I personally think daggers fit the concept nigh on perfectly. I loathe the fact that you can swing dual katana, I mean they're not exactly compact :/

Is the animations that is the problem.
Looks a bit awkward to go from longswords to short daggers for DB when it comes to the the animations.

I wanna see some of the roman weapons for dual blades, specially the gladius the centuroin females use.
I also wanna see smaller and thinner evrsion of the arabian scimitar which broadsword got.
(Dual blade animations are both slashy and stabby, no reason why we can't have both kind of weapons).
We have all kind of blades, from tiny red cap daggers to long impervius katanas... we really should be having access to more swords than we currently do.

it's the same animation, it just has to be tweaked according to range.

At first they were really awkward but now I rather like them.
And... Redo? *poke in the eyes* Never redo/remake! Allow the talsorian katana to be on the list next to talsorian db... Sure.
well yeah, more always better.
i'd like to state chinese blades can be used as duals but not often cos they are hard to use like that and a jian is a fencing weapon correct but it more commanly has cuts.
anyway i like that idea and they should bring it a chinese blade powerset

If you get Dual Sickles can I have Dual Axes. The set doesnt specify what the blade is attached to
I think BaB said no to axes cause they lacked a staby bit but I'm sure they could come up with a sutable model that could be both choppy and stabby. Also it would be nice if they porter over the rusty blade from katana and the tech blade from broad sword (dose any one really care that it's supposidly to long)

that was my point some of the current weapon models bare very litle relation to the animations but there still there so why not have others like some axe models and the tech sword and let the players chose.
Infact why not proliforate all the available weapon skins betwean broadsword katana dualblades ninja blade and axe and then treat the power sets more like diffent stiels
You never know - one day in the future you might get 'Dual Handles' and the attachment is customisable - it would be good to see some Dual Eggbeater scrappers out there...

I've noticed a definite trend in Dual Blades....
Most of the weapon skins are of Japanese origins with a few others thrown in. What happened to the Chinese weapons? I'd love to fight with dual swords like this. It could even be used in the Katana set without looking too odd as both sets are full of sweeping, graceful attacks
