Power Surge is essentially Unstoppable with a unique crash. When it crashes, it fires off an EMP centered on you, which is a mag 3 hold with damage to robotic enemies.

Never gonna happen. You can start there if you're VIP, or if you buy GR. Because Praetoria was the whole point of GR, and why would they give away an expansion box that's still on store shelves?
  3. Staff/Bio Armor for sure. Not sure whether to go with a Brute, Scrapper, or Tanker for it, though. Leaning Brute because I haven't gotten one to 50 yet.

Probably Water Blast with Nature Affinity, though a Plant/Nature controller could be fun, and a Water/* blaster, as well.

Actually, if a tank loses aggro to a 'trops patch, they probably aren't doing that great at holding aggro (or the 'trops are being thrown out too early), and I say this from both sides of the equation.

There's a good chance your mission required them to be in a specific zone and/or neighborhood.

Sure would be awesome if the Prae Chaser stuck with you after your alignment choice. It should base itself off of an internal invisible badge that tells you what earth you originate from.
No need for an invisible one. Agent of Praetoria sticks around after you leave Prae, doesn't it?

    That's the problem.
Not even a full 24 hours later, during a big invasion event. Go figure.

Well, every AoE immob except the one in Grav

Why did you delete and reroll instead of respeccing?

  11. My Beam/Dark Corr is pretty good, but then again, Dark Miasma is always good.

I don't mind the abundance of portals so much as I do the strange places they choose to put them.
FBZ and Praetoria portals both have minimap markers, you know.

    That's a little narrow.

Tech: Cybernetic implants that you and your dog received after nearly dying.
Science: Your dog was there during the accident.
Natural: (Not going to say a thing because anytime someone mentions "aliens are natural, too", some people have to come in and shout "NO THEY AREN'T", even though the game explicitly says they are, hello PBs.)
Mutant: Mutant powers can do anything, really.

Well, the last item on the list isn't that important, since the rum is always gone.

You have a field that works better at deflecting certain things, like a coating of ice would diffract energy, and simply add more ice onto itself, as well as keep fire from affecting you entirely by taking all the heat from it. Defense isn't always dodging, it can also be an attack deflecting off a barrier or simply being completely absorbed by a field of some sort.

It makes no logical sense, though. Positional defense does, since you would avoid ranged/melee/AoE attacks differently, but positional resistance? You get harmed less by being stabbed with a knife than having it thrown at you?

They can only be hit by certain positional attacks (5% notwithstanding). And no, they can't just "add a positional resistance", because resistance in this game subtracts from a type of damage being delivered. So to add positional damage, Fireball would have to go from 50% S/50% F to 33% S/33% F/33% AoE, and now every resistance set got a big ol' nerf.

We're complaining about this outfit making characters look like prostitutes because it is an outfit most seen in a house of ill repute.

Sigh. I am sorry if I misunderstood, but I don't see sluttyness anywhere on the female gunslinger outfit my toon is presently wearing. If I knew how, I would post a screenshot....I agree it is not a gunslingin' outfit, but it does not deserve all this hatred.

Hate the artists for not giving us man clothing for our females..don't hate the outfit.

    Lisa.
The problem is, it's a gunslinger pack. I want to make Annie Oakley, not an employee at the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. If they advertised it as "Western", there'd be a little less hue and cry (though not much, because seriously, more pants please). What people are asking for is the devs to give us what they're saying they're giving us. And to give us more options.

Also, you're falling into the fallacy of false dichotomies here, because you can only see "skimpy" and "man clothing", when there's a nice middle ground that pretty much gets no exploration by the art devs.

    Gamestop?

I find them at my local Rite Aid all the time. (Rite Aid is a drug store, like Kinney's or CVS).

Sorry! I havent leveled a Dominator past level 10. Its just an Odd AT for me! Yea yea I remeber now, there was an inherent White like Build Up button that empowers them so targets take more dame (while held is increased)! Different mechanics to reach the same thing as trollers! At least thats how i've perceived it!
Domination hasn't buffed damage in a long time. I was around for that change and I remember the hue and cry of nerf (when it was an actual buff for all but the most extreme edge cases of recharge). They increased the base damage of dominators and removed the damage buff from Domination in I12.

I don't know if they went into details on Dark Assault. I got tired of the choppy ustream and decided to watch it later - and of course, that part didn't get recorded.
You know there's pretty much zero chance of that, since Black Hole was left in Dark Miasma for the port as Dark Affinity, and they aren't going to have the exact same power available in both primary and secondary.

I stopped actually looking at what people put as their location a long time ago, when I realized that most people put a joke location in that field.
