Power Surge question

Why does Power Surge (Elec Armour) take Acc Enhancements? And Hold for that matter?

I've looked in Red Tomax on the Titan Network and I'm not computing it well

What am I missing?

Power Surge is essentially Unstoppable with a unique crash. When it crashes, it fires off an EMP centered on you, which is a mag 3 hold with damage to robotic enemies.

While I'm not familiar with the power, I would say it's this line: "As Power Surge wears off, the charge in your body explodes in a massive EMP pulse." Following the last link in the power listing Summon EM Pulse gives you the stats on an AoE hold. So I'm guessing that when the power ends after 3 minutes there's an EMP effect that goes off. I'm sure someone more familiar with the power will speak up to verify or not.

It can save you from the crash.

Sometimes.

So the next question is: is it beneficial enough to risk staying in melee to use the EMP from the crash or will your survival instinct compel you to retreat once you see the icon start to blink?

Teams are the number one killer of soloists.

I'll try to finish up what I have going if I notice it blink, but I won't rush into fresh combat to use the EMP.

Its better to run and hide for the crash, than hope that the mag 3 will hold everyone (you will prolly miss, and mag 3 won't hold a boss)

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
