Learn what the definition of a wall of text is. It's when you post some big huge thing with no breaks. No hypocrisy in doing a point-by-point breakdown after un-walling the wall.

Quote:I love how you completely ignore labor costs. You know, stuff like paying the employees.WTFE. You get over it. Even if it was $1 to make a box of ceral that sells for $5, still a scam and lot of money brought in per unit. And you still missed the entire point over a little niggle. If you missed the point, then that's on you. No sense in starting something over it. It's a little niggle that you are tryign to make a big deal over it. If you think it's a big deal, then YOU think it's a big deal. Dont try to make it my problem. I suggest that you leave it alone. I have nothing else to say on that matter as I can see that all you want to do is start an arguement over something that is not even worth argueing about. Argue by yourself as I'm not falling for it. Good day to you.

Quote:Although these are stronger Praetorians, with Cole feeding them some of his Phenomenal Cosmic Power. And the arcs are still around, too.Old Preatorians vs New: In the old arcs, most people could solo against at least some of the EB. Even with AVs, you only needed 8 people max to beat them (some extreme case soloing the AV). Now, when you look at the same chracters, you need to be a league. So 16 to 24! Seems like we're weaker then we used to.
Quote:Who's the strongest incarnate? Nobody will ever beat Emperor Cole i'm guessing. It took a huge bunch of us to beat him. Then Battalion will come, but i'm guessing it will also be a league TF, so we'll need a bunch of people to beat what Cole intended to fight alone. (Kinda like Preatoria Hami, he soloed it! Haven't of a player doing that...) -

Quote:Super Strength (2):In my limited experience, Hover is a great power if you're a ranged AT, or at least rely on a lot of ranged powers (Doms, 'Trollers, Blasters, Corrs, etc). It's not a great power if you're melee, not only do a surprising number of melee powers actually require you to be on the ground, but that's where 99% of your targets are, and gravity actually helps you find them by taking care of the z axis for you. The defense bonus is poor, though it's a great place to hide a LotG and helps open access to Afterburner which can also hold a LotG. But for a /SS or SS/, it's going to hurt a lot more than it will help.
Hurl, Footstomp
Titan Weapons (1):
Arc of Destruction
Stone Melee (2):
Fault, Hurl Boulder
Secondaries:
Electric Armor (1):
Grounded
Fiery Aura (1):
Burn
And Stone Armor basically shuts off all flight.
That's not a "surprising number". That's just a couple sets hovering won't work with. -
Maybe some technical names? Like Hologram DEM-001, DEM-002, DEM-003, DEM-101, DEM-102, DEM-200. Or something more clever than that for the names.

Quote:I thought that people who had them unlocked before Freedom had them grandfathered, or something. So if you unlocked them before a certain date, you didn't have to buy them, but if you did it afterwards, you'd still have to buy.Warshades, Peacebringers, Arachnos Soldiers, and Arachnos Widows are all free to VIPs, and Purchase-Only for Premiums. There is no free way to unlock them; the people - myself included - who got them unlocked for free during the transition to Freedom are the lucky beneficiaries of a bug. There's no way to tell for sure why some got the unlocks and others didn't, but it was never intended.

There's one up right now, 5 minute window. I'm retweeting for a second code for my gf who is asleep right now since she works 3rd shift.
-
And infinitely fewer complications. Changing an account system is HUGELY more complicated than getting a shipment a little late.
-
Well, there may have been a bit lost from people who were thinking "hey, I'll get something with a little extra cash", see it's down, and decide to get something else, like some DLC for a console game. But hardly much at all.

Quote:I, honestly, CAN say that I have several characters who are better off without hasten. Whether it be due to end problems that even Cardiac Alpha can struggle with (DA/SS tanker, and no, not aiming for double-rage because the blue bar dies fast enough with the 25 end crash every 2 minutes instead of every 1), lack of room to put it (there are many things that should be a higher priority than hasten, since the global recharge you get aiming for perma-hasten is usually more than enough anyway), conceptual conflict (sometimes, I just can't get over the flaming hands), or just plain dislike of redraw (I avoid it on weapon users for that reason).Ok.
But from a numerical standpoint can you honestly say that your characters would not be better with hasten?
The reason Hasten is so useful is because if increases the viability of everything. EVERYTHING. Heals are up faster, buffs are up more often, Domination can be made perma, your best damage powers are up faster.
Do you "need" hasten on every character? No. However by not taking it you are a lower performing character in comparison to some one that does. This is a mathematical fact. -
Quote:Run an ITF with only about 70% DDR and then tell me it's not important.I solo on my shield.
NEVER EVER take it the extra power is to important elsewhere.
Grant Cover is needed to have enough DDR to not get major cascade failure, and thus should not be skipped. -
Quote:No, no no. You get the reward token for every 1200 points you purchase. Which is not the same as every $15 you spend, as it counts the bonus points you get on larger purchases. To be more exact:
You get a reward token for every 15$ you spend in the store, cumulatively. That is, you can buy 5$ in points (which is all you'll need for a Mastermind unlock, they're currently 250 pts. 5$ gets you 400). and then later you buy 10$ in points, you'll receive a reward token. It keeps track.
You also get a bonus token for the very first time you spend -any- amount of money in the store, so if you dropped 15$ you'd get 2 tokens this one time. -
Quote:Actually, people want to run it at 7 or 8 because then the end of each level is an AV, who drops an SO for everyone on the team, whereas 4-6 they're an EB who don't.Yes, that's why you will wind up with 4. But many, if not most, people run it for fast xp, so you'll be lucky to join a random team of 4 that all agree to go for the badges and not worry about the lesser experience. Often instead you'll have people quit immediately when the only see 3 other teammates.

Quote:Yes, but he was correcting you incorrectly. Which is the issue we were taking with him.ArcticFahx, Memphis_Bill, thanks for the defense. It's appreciated. But so is the correcting post from Sailboat.
Let me explain why...
I'm dutch, as in "I'm from the Netherlands". It's the little country east of the UK where cheese is gold and wooden shoes are standard footwear (or so foreigners think).
If I mess up the English language by making typos or using words in incorrect context, that's my excuse.
I'm just glad that there are people out there that are willing to correct me. Even if it sounds like nitpicking. I don't mind. I accept that I was wrong, learn from my mistake and move on.
So, no hard feelings, I won't snipe anyone in the back or AS them next time their online for correcting my spelling.
Now, back on topic!
Edit: Also, I love this idea. -
Quote:When he said 11, he meant that's how many he got, not they were level 11. He got them on his level 50s.No, it can still be used by your level 21 troller, it will just be as a level 11 IO.
They still work like any other IO in that you can be above the level and it will still work, the only part that is bugged is the part that makes it match your current level. -
Quote:That was an unnecessary (and somewhat douchey) nitpick. In computer science (and in various mathematics) an inherited property is a property obtained from some other aspect of an object.Inherent. From the related form inhere (to be an essential or intrinsic part of; to be fixed or permanently incorporated with something). From the same Latin root from which we derive coherent and adherent.
Unless your powerset died and left you the costume change emote in its will, it's not inherited.
Oh, and inherited is used in genetics. Like how I inherited my "sunburnt in under 15 minutes pale skin" from my mother. -
Quote:I really have to be That Guy today, sorry, but I got it on my first run, pretty much right after work yesterday. And slotted it in Solar Flare right away. One other bug... Blasted RNG keeps refusing to give me the KB to KD enhancer (stamp!) Several of the quads, a couple Accuracy/Damages, and one of the triples. The RNG seems to hate me.
(Didn't get it on run 2, though. Got an End/Rech.) -
Really, my title's all there is to it, but for my reasoning:
I'm a horrible altaholic, and currently a Premium player. I have a few characters I'll play on different servers, but I would like to be able to make sure I'm unlocking the right brute before it's too late. Nothing stinks more than unlocking your TW/Inv brute on Justice when you wanted to unlock your TW/Elec brute on Protector, and having already burnt a global unlock token. -
Quote:Umm.... no, that's not why it was done. The damage boost was removed from domination when the dominator AT got a WHOLE SALE DAMAGE SCALE BUFF. It wasn't to keep domination from being OP, it was to:don't make snipes instant under domination. A lot of work was put in to make domination not be so uber by not making it affect damage.
making snipes instant under domination will undo that work and make permadom that much better once again.
a) Reduce the disparity between permadom and SO builds
b) Make the secondaries that had Aim or BU not have those be useless powers with domination taking up most of the damage buff cap room. -
Quote:Even looking at just the mace powers, it's still 4/4 ranged/melee. So yeah, Banes are an assault set.Three ranged attacks, huh? Bane Spiders have access to the following ranged attacks from their primary:
- Single Shot
- Burst
- Heavy Burst
- Venom Grenade
- Frag Grenade
- Mace Beam
- Mace Beam Blast
- Mace Beam Volley
- Poisonous Ray
Like bullony you can't. Gimping yourself by spurning the Wolf powers is as silly a concept-motivated farce as running a Mastermind without pets. *Looks at avatar*
Conversely, Banes have access to the following melee attacks from their primary:
- Pummel
- Bayonet
- Bash
- Pulverize
- Shatter
- Crowd Control
Even if you discount the Wolf powers, it still leaves Banes with 4 each of ranged and melee.
Well, Life Drain is from Dark Blast. -
Quote:Oh, bah. Might put it in Hurl, then, and sad at my inability to use Hand Clap still D:Except it's not a global, which (to me) it sounds like you still think it is.
If you're planning to slot it into Foot Stomp for the 6 slot bonus, Hand Clap will still do knockback, since the IO isn't in Hand clap.
And if I'm still misunderstanding you, well, my bad. *shrug* -
Quote:Sorry, wasn't clear. It's going to go into one of my normal attacks (probably Foot Stomp, because the PBAoE sets all suck at end redux), and it'll allow me to take Hand Clap to stack stuns with OGAs I understand it that isn't able to be slotted there, since Hand Clap does no damage...
