Maybe some technical names? Like Hologram DEM-001, DEM-002, DEM-003, DEM-101, DEM-102, DEM-200. Or something more clever than that for the names.

I'm not seeing why you couldn't use your Solid Hologram naming convention. Just replace the O with 0 instead of the I and L.

Okay, so why aren't the lowest-tier pets Solid Holograms, the mid-tier pets something like Advanced Holograms (one with an L and one with an I), and the Demon Prince can be a "Perfected Hologram."

The vast majority of those are too long when used in combination... and well... none of them really work to give a hint that the items are actually Holograms... and not demons. Which also throws all of your demon suggestions right out. Holograms aren't evil in my mind, unless programmed that way, and these are for defense.
Also, what I need is a combination of 3 capital I's or lowercase L's. Either will work for this.
Maybe a mix of Living Hologram, Solid Hologram, and Hologram?
Boss pet could be "Living"
LT pets could both be "Solid"
2 minions could be "Hologram", with another being Solid.
Another idea is you could tack some term on to the end of Holo~. To many people Holo alone is enough for them to understand that it's a hologram of some sort.
Holobeast, Holosentinal, Holobrute, Holofiend.. etc etc.
The minions could be "Holorascal"
2x Lts could be "Holofiend"
Boss could be "Holobeast"
Capitalizing the second word makes it stand out more (Holorascal vs HoloRascal), but that might not be your cup of tea.
Just some brain storms, hope it helps a bit.

I have a Demon Summoning Mastermind with a technological bent, that is playing off his Demons as though they are some sort of Solid Hologram. And, ideally, I would like it to appear as though they all have the same name.
Originally, I went with the name Illusion for them all since the I --> L trick can be used in a lot of combinations across all 6 of the pets. However, I don't think that conveys that the pets are actually there... not just pretend. So, I named some of them Solid Hologram and others I suppose, could just be Hologram, but that doesn't make me as happy.
Any ideas for a naming convention that can accomplish this?
