  1. Specifically, slotting accuracy, no matter what the set will enhance all the pet's accuracy of all it's powers.

Where the set type comes into play is if the IO is a proc. The game will only check for procs on attacks of the type that is slotted.

    Example.

Dark Servant can slot Neuronic Shutdown: Chance for Psi damage proc. This proc will only have a chance to fire when Dark Servant uses a hold power, not everytime the fluffy attacks. This does not effect enhancements, just procs.

(On a side note. Pets are not effected by recharge. Slotting recharge does not increase their attack's recharge, nor does Speed Boosting them. This works on the other side in that slows also do not effect them)
  2. It provides a temp power tp the target that only allows it to stack so many times. Thus no matter how many people have the interface debuff, it will never go over 4 unless as previously mentioned above (different numbers, but the cap stack is the same per number).

Heh, it's one of those things that I think is better to just type out. >.> though... it does remind me of when people say 'miss' instead of mish, which are both short for mission.... however when people say "miss set", "miss is up" or "let's do this miss" I kind of cringe. I do not feel like 'doing' a miss.... but I would like to accomplish a mission.... Just my two cents.

I'm sure everyone has things like that that they see that irks them.

    KM/Elec AV solo

    Nope.

You need defense. Just two to three good hits and you will be done for. You absolutely have to keep from getting hit in the first place. Unless you are going to eat insperations you will not be able to last long enough. Build for 32.5% S/L and eat a 1 purple at a time to stay soft capped or 45% if you can muster it. You will do well against most AVs but falter a little when fighting AVs like Mother Mayhem or Infernal.
  5. The recov and regen lasts 30 seconds.

    Rech lasts 90 seconds.

The video was before EA had a taunt aura. Also the Cims are level 50.
  7. And I officially kick you out of the scrapper forums!

... but yes, NoChain should be able to help you.
  8. Focusing on Knockback and stuns is a waste. The best status in the game is dead, not stun or KB. Slot for damage. Also as a melee toon, why chase after your mobs, it just leaves them alive longer.
  9. The perf shifter proc is invaluable.

1 perf shifter proc and 2 efficacy addapters will give you less +hp than 3 perf shifters.

3 perf shifters is all that is needed. 4 if you have a spare slot (proc, end mod, end mod/acc, end mod/rec)
  10. Reference my build guide (Work in Progress atm) for some help, especially the part about not slotting for secondary effects.

Repulsing Torrent is a bad power.

If I had a KM/SR scrapper... this is what it would look like. (on a cheap budget)

  11. New Dawn's build has one too many 9% acc bonuses, might as well just put a Cyto or use a slot elsewhere (4 slotting LotG).

45% acc is a lot. It is essentially a level 55 Common IO of acc for every attack. Along with it's normal slotting. Even with facing a +4 you will have capped chance to hit over 100%.

I would personally switch out Numina's for the 3 Miracles in Energize, or 5 slot it with Doc Wounds - Heal/End one.

I have found that building for defense, for an elec/tw tank is not really worth it for Incarnate Trials. :/ I usually am in the negative or low tens, even though I have it built for 45% melee, 32.5% ranged. I would say for an I-Trial focus, focus on +Recharge, +HP and +Regen.

    My own personal view.
  12. But the NPC characters are just that NON Playable. If they got into player hands, they would need to be rebalanced/nerfed. (classic example, almost all 'support' AVs are tougher than any melee 'tank' AV. When doing Maria Jenkin's arc Dominatrix, Diabolique, Nightstar and Black Swan are able to take more of a beating than Maurader or Bobcat.

That is incorrect. It is a proven fact that brutes will agro, even when they have 55 ft of PvE stealth or more.

  14. I see no reason to do this.

1). You should not be copying characters from trademarked/copywrited sources, so giving us the players more ways to do so is in direct violation of federal law and the user agreement that CoH has.

2). If this is just so that the players can have more choices... I suggest you go play CO. Which did exactly what City of Heroes planned on doing to start out with in the alpha.

    http://web.archive.org/web/200110051...com/powers.htm

You could pick any power from any powerset. Complete freedom! NO CLASSES!

However people were either really dumb and picked Invulnerability/Flight so that they were... Invulnerable and could fly. Or else they would pick Uber/Awesome and that was all you saw on the game (besides those invulnerably flyers of course). This made the game INSANELY hard to balance.

There are so many people with so many preferences and so many ideas of what is normal and common. There is no way to please everyone.

I recall one time, I forget the exact context, but a dev thought about releasing some sort of power and then thought against it because they figured people would want it animated differently, or instead of one model they would want a different model. So eventually he decided not to even do it. (something about a shark if some one else remembers this exactly and can find/post a link to the post).

I still say we need a machine gun melee set that shoots flaming exploding chainsaws that turn into flowers after exploding..... >.>
  15. Kinda care, might buy depending on which one is selected and what powerset it is available for.

DDR mitigates Defense Debuffs (hence Defense Debuff Resistance). Defense mitigates To Hit buffs.

IMO if they really wana fix this >.> they need to switch defense and resistance numbers... >.> so defense numbers are crap and random and resistance is balanced and high.
  18. If this is a purple farm build than +acc is not needed since you will be farming at +0 or +1.
  19. You are going to want to take either Cardiac Core Alpha or Conserve Power/Physical Perfection IMO

Dark regen wants more slots :O

I would go Martial Arts because +def to all is awesome.

What do you think of going to MA?
