I don't know how good they will be in the "Leather-Men" universe

Since it's a sequel to X-men: First Class I wouldn't assume they are still going with the leather look of the first 3 movies.

Huh, I can honestly say I didn't see that coming as a sequel to First Class. I wonder if they'll be setting it in the '60s like the first movie, or moving it to the '80s to keep it lined up with the comic book's setting, or jumping right into the present day?

have not seen FC yet (the other x-men movies soured me to them, skipped Wolverine as well). But Days of Future Past should be cool if they usual the actual story
I hated the first three X-Men movies. The Wolverine movie was even worse (though the game was surprisingly fun). I haven't seen First Class, yet, though everything I've seen and heard about it makes me think I'll probably dislike it as well. I have little faith that they'll make a decent Days of Future Past movie.

IMHO First Class is the best X-Men movie we have so far; still got a few Bwah?!-moments but it's good enugh to enjoy.
Also, the Wolverine cameo is quite funny

Ha kidding, in all seriousness I am excited for this. First Class was a heck of a lot better then that Wolverine movie.
On a side-note I wonder how far the Professor's hairline will have receded in this one.
I haven't seen First Class yet. The seeming return to the comic book movie tradition of "plug in a random character when needed" kinda killed my interest in the whole thing. Days of Future Past..... well, while it'd be nice to see some more of the fantastical elements of comics show up in the movies (i.e. time travel), I can't really get myself excited for this.
I've kinda checked out until Marvel gets the movie rights back so they can "do it right".

To anyone that hasn't seen First Class yet, go rent it....Now, easily ranks near the top of X Men movies for me (X2 is still tops) went in with low expectations and was very surprised how good it was. I have no issues trusting the same team to do a 2nd one.

Should point out that the second stand alone Wolverine movie is in production as I type this down on Fox's Sydney studios. It won't be connected at all to this project, but it's notable that Fox is trying to keep the X-Franchise alive as long as they can. Days of Future Past (if they stay with the storyline) would nearly have to involve Hugh Jackman at least in the flashforward sequences.
Good subject matter, though.

I liked how the 90's cartoon adapted Days of Future Past to bring in Bishop and the ultimate Sentinel, Nimrod.
Rachel Summers is one of my favorite X-Men, I hope they get someone who does her justice! Also I hope they don't neglect her hellhound markings!
Though, if they keep with their current storyline, I can't help but think it won't be anything but totally different anyways.
