I believe the correct phrase is:

"Wonder Woman movie has yet another writer"

This movie is running the gamut of the Hollywood writing scene.

I find your lack of signature disturbing.

Oh, I don't know. Order of the Phoenix came out pretty well IMO. Now Green Lantern certainly wasn't a commercial success, but I think it gets trashed more than it deserves (could be I'm a bit to favorable on the character so I'm biased however). The main weakness of GL (IMO of course) was that it was too rushed. They tried to stuff too much into it. I have to wonder if that was the writer's fault. I could see a situation of someone above him trying to make him cram more in, and he did what he could.

OOTP did a decent job of cutting the story down to what was necessary to get it told. Heck, I think I preferred the movie in some ways since it had much less of the whiny Harry teen angst which was so prevalent throughout the book.

Too many alts to list.

One must wonder how much DC is kicking themselves over losing Joss Whedon from this movie project

I was going to say Joss was suppose to be the writer on this. Now DC is kicking themselves and losing him to the Avengers.

Heh, almost as bad as when the studios figured a movie named Star Wars would be a failure and allowed Lucas to keep all merchandising/ownership rights.......

One wonders how many studio employees had to fall on their lightsabers for that error in judgement.

Who, in their right mind, would trust a guy like Joss Whedon to do a superhero movie? Let alone, a superhero movie with a strong female lead. Pff. Preposterous.

No doubt. Of course, there were quite a few people who moaned when they learned about Joss directing Avengers; they've been suitably converted now.

Seriously, the guy wouldn't know a butt-kicking heroine if one staked him!

Wait, maybe I can do one with River Tam... hmmm... if one killed him with her brain?

And Heath Ledger can't play the Joker.

Daniel Craig can't play James Bond.

Bruce Willis can't do action.

Leslie Nielsen can't do comedy.

Doubters be doubting.

Haters be hating.

And the world keeps turning.

I typically give even the most mediocre superhero movies a pass. Green Lantern was a steaming pile though. And the script had a lot to do with that.

Yeah this is sort of "non-news" considering that it seems like Wonder Woman has gotten a potential new writer/script every year or so for practically decades now.

On the other hand the success of the Avengers has only helped to advance the cause of ALL superhero movies, not just one for Wonder Woman so hope springs eternal that we may actually see her on the silver screen sometime in the next few years.

It would have been awesome if Joss Whedon had been able to produce his version but I can think of plenty of people worse than Michael Goldenberg. Yes Green Lantern didn't do too well box-office wise but again I can easily think of many -worse- superhero movies than that. And for what it's worth I thought 'Order of the Pheonix' was one of the best Potter movies.

As always I'll believe it when I see it for real.

He is a Meh writer. Competent but not worth getting excited about.

At this stage though, if DC can't attract some real talent, either writing, producing, or directing, I can't see them rejoining the majors.

I really should do something about this signature.

Karen Gillan.

It's high time Wonder Woman was Scottish.

Listening to Kevin Smith talk, I sometimes wonder, "Just how much does the writer actually write the movie?"

A writer can write the best script ever, and then have it ruined by the directors and actors.

Warners should give Dini and Timm the budget to make a Wonder Woman movie.

It would be AWESOME.

Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.
