Wow you guys are picky. Or I'm just un-picky. That's a word, right? But seriously I didn't get the gut reaction of overly contorted like I do from some comics, so I'm fine with it.

The only part that does slightly bother me is her facial expression. Something about it just doesn't sit right with me.

Yeah, sign me up for 'The face looks weird', end of. I guess I can live with sill spinal contortion (Is Penny left or right handed? Had that same argument Re: States vs Warworks) but the face just looks bad as it is.

I think what these loading screens need is GROUND. I'm not saying it's impossible to twist women up like macaroni from a rooted stance, just that it's much easier to catch when it looks unnatural that way.

What was that movie with the sport where people kung-fu fight each other on trampoulines over an inflatable pool with boxing gloves on? Because that's what a lot of our more recent loading screens have looked like. It's as if combatants have been shot out of carnival cannons towards each other. And I don't think the Shadowhunter can fly.

I dunno...the perspective looks rather...flat to me. My perception seems to expect more emphasis on size difference either of the two figures or parts of the figure (mainly the blue guy...you'd think his right hand would seem a deal larger than his left, for example). But I'm liking the overall designs. I want that loincloth *yoink*, that hood *yoink*, the various skeleton bone parts *yoink* and I'll take that psychic melee too *yoink*!

not that i think they need to cover her up or anything XD i just think the objectification and double standards should be noted. i think the only reason shadowhunter is so scantily clad is because he is so beastly and therefore, still kinda not really 'male'.

but this all might fit in other threads i guess, i was just following up with my earlier posts... hooray for new loading screens!
