a loincloth? yes please.
They're in game too, banished pantheon shamanesses have them.

We'll never get them tho as they're made up of two capes and because someone apparently is still playing on a 286 with a 9600 baud modem, we can't get two capes on our chars.

The only way this could happen is if the "dangly parts" stopped above the knee (like the Pencil Skirt does). If you look carefully at the Carnival of Light Sash, you'll see this "not beyond the knee" dynamic in action.

The real problem though is getting something that could "flutter" around the way a light cloth would when jumping. Doing that for the coat tails of the Wedding Tux is one thing ... but doing it for something like this would be something else again ...

It's the end. But the moment has been prepared for ...

Why just the "pants"? I want the whole outfit! Hell, I want that as a hairstyle!

Does the fact that her jubblies are almost completely out of her top have anything to do with that?

Because, to me, that is a reason NEVER to see the outfit in this game.

Looks more like the angle. After all, it's a shot straight up, and she seems to have no belief in support... And honestly, we have parts *far* worse than that, from the duct-tape straps to Eden and other "How is that stayong on again?" tops.

Modify the "Belly tee" piece to take (or have) a pattern and give another sleeve option, and I think you'd have that top.

Nothing "technical" about it, they are literally not pants.

From the looks of it, so long as her environment is cool enough, then her THO will be perma and the risk of falling out is eliminated.

Who is that BTW because her face looks exactly like the avatar headshot I chose for my PSN acct.

The thing is.... it's possible because I seen it done on many of the mobs and the Cimerorians.
Now go and see how limited the movements they get are. That's one of the main reasons we've been given for players not getting things like this (or full robes/dresses.)

As, uh... nice as that would be, I'm under the impression a lot of people could stand for wearing more clothes.

... In multiple layers.

Perhaps learning what a bra is, at least.

...

You could just have neither part 'flutter' and be done with a 'static loin cloth' like that. People would still wear it, easily.

... But seriously, layers people!

Her shirt looks like like the size of the belly tee shirt we have in the game now, with the difference being the small slits on the side, the shoulders and the sleeves.

the shirt is excessive, but lets not go forest and trees here. the general point is that the long loin cloth type dress with "eastern" patterns on is is very much the dress i have been nagging for for some time when i go on about the cheongsam dress in so many costume threads(this technically is not one of those but the lower body part would be similar). the sleeves would be nice too.

plus in game the shirt is not as bad, the pictures tend to be a bit bat-nuts fanservicey. that particular character is one of my favorite in that particular series given her look, fighting style and weapon.

Anything's "possible" in theory. But just because certain NPCs in this game have certain items doesn't mean players will ever get them.

As both Sapphic_Neko and Memphis_Bill have pointed out there are limitations to what the game can do and it already puts animation restrictions on specific NPCs wearing "special" items like this. The other advantage NPCs have over player characters is that NPCs don't need to be able to switch costume items in the costume editor. Since their clothes are "hardwired" they can have things that work differently than us. This is how other games get away with this kind of thing because they sacrifice costume changeability to make their hardwired animations work.

Basically unless they totally redesigned the way character body models work in this game we will always be limited in the number of "free-flowing" cloth parts we can have. Remember that this game didn't even have capes or wings at the beginning because they were (at the time) very difficult to implement. The examples you provided in this thread will likely always be beyond the capabilities of this game.

I'd settle for giving up my cloak slot (having cloaks locked out as a costume option) to get the cimeroran loin cloth as a skirt option. Much like the widow buttcape works.

This might be the only viable workaround. The Devs would have to be convinced that there's enough people out there who'd be willing to sacrifice the ability to have other "cape items" like capes, veils and/or wings. *shrugs*

I have wanted variations of these outfits since I first got to Cim.

There is a simpler version that some of the Sybils wear that I could happily work with.

Meanwhile the "Eden" top for "Tights With Skin"

I have seen many outfits that revealing in CoX by PCs and NPCs both.

What about Android Bunnies? Here are a few of my more than 40 Remaugen Android Bunnies running around Champion. Select a skin color and use tights that match it, then use the blend detail to add fur like color depth.

Yeah. Some people seem to be...uh...taking this a tad too seriously?

I mean, heaven forbid we see *gasp* smooth, mannequin flatness! The horror, the no-detail horror!
