Which is.. yeah pretty disappointing since they don't seem to want to add in any damage modifiers to the sets :P
And that hurts in deciding what powers to slot them in :/

All you had to do was watch the Summit presentation. They talked about a second set of Super Packs there.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

And a costume outline highly suggestive of a pirate.

Just as loud as before, but when paragon reward merits will likely allow you to buy up the new super packs as well, I'll hope it's less of a problem.

I would *soooooo* be in Super-Kitty Heaven (tm) if all Healing powers (*including* Kheldian) added a Damage Absorption component!

*squees and flies away at Super-Kitty Speed (tm)!*

This strongly suggests a new defense mechanism, and probably also a new defense set.

I doubt any existing powers are getting absorb added. It's one of "special shticks" of Bio Armor and Nature Affinity. They are adding absorb to the heal recipes because either a) Absorb already goes off heal and they want to make it clear, or b) because they don't want to add another category of IO recpies.

I think it's pretty well known that George Lucas hates semantics almost as much as he hates syntactics.

Just as an FYI - the 2nd set of ATOs have their own artwork now. It mostly uses the proc effect as a base (Spider's Bite has a bio-hazard symbol, Scourging Blast has an End mod icon).

semantics: the study of meaning. Kind of what like you're failing at right now.
