What set are you addicted to?

I certainly don't FEEL addicted to them, but I've made a lot of Sonic Attacks and Ninjitsu characters over the years.

if y'all knew how many /storm characters i have, you'd petition to prevent me from making any new characters.

but my favorite powersets are, in this order:

Storm Summoning
Thorn Assault
Plant Control
Ice-Blast
Anything Leviathan Mastery

and recently, Poison, believe it or not. but i'm all about fx, and despite the all over the place-ness that is Poison, i kinda like it, and even with only one character, it's one of my favorite sets

Fire blast, but I don't count that because it's normal.
Sonic blast, but I don't count that because it's so good.

Force Field defenders. Those are an addiction. I don't consider myself to really be on a server until I have a FF defender there at "capped defense for the team" level [17+].

I have to say.. I'm addicted to /FF Trollers and FF/ Fenders... lol thats all i can rly play... thanks to MagicJ lol

I have to almost force myself to stay away from anything fire. Every time I make a new toon I have this little flamey devil on one shoulder whispering in a sultry voice 'take fire... it's smexy'. Then on the other shoulder I've got the angelic 'oh, but try something el-WAAAAaaaaH!' ... yeah... it's fire.

i used to never use the same sets still dont really

i really really....really love fear and fluffie from the dark sets (it's a easy set great heal)
and oddily dual pistols i have 3 corrs 1 blaster with dp fun to watch

i also have 3 forts with the same I-O's and 2 with the same incarnates (i used them for merits and getting villain merits) i also found them so fun one became my main

Electric. Anything electric.

The only thing electric I haven't gone full tilt on is scrapper and stalker armor - but that's because of the 75 percent resistance cap. I'll likely make one of each one day.

I have to echo the posts on Will Power.

Not to downplay willpowers effectiveness as a set, but It has to be one of the dullest powersets conceptually IMO. As much as its kind of the silly putty of defensive sets concept wise. Then again I don't play melee at all really anymore, I prefer active mitigation but to each their own. If I did roll a melee toon I'd almost definetly roll dark armor of which I'm addicted to rolling and never finishing.

That's just it. I like it because it's dull. Fire up the shields and I'm ready to go. Androktasia may not do well on a massive alpha strike, but as long as she survives it (and I do keep a green or two handy for that) she soldiers on very well.

Nothing in regards to one specific power SET, but I am addicted to stealth and to control characters in general.

So lots of flavors of controller, a fortuna, and flirtin with a WS right now

I'm addicted to the set (combo's) I haven't tried yet. So I'm always trying a new one or new combos.. Or a set I have tried, but on a differnt AT to see how it works from a different perspective.

I can talk myself into almost any offensive set, but I've gotten really dependent on a couple of the defensive ones. In particular, I have to lean on myself hard to take any mastermind secondary other than FF, any scrapper or brute or stalker secondary other than SR, or any dominator secondary other than energy.

I'm kinda sad to say, but the only one I may be addicted to is /Devices from blaster secondary. Yes, yes I know that it is severely underpowered, but since the rest of the blaster secondaries are so melee oriented, I just can't bring myself to take them. I just don't feel that melee is the place for guys that use range to the enemy as a defense. Likely a failing on my part, but thats how I feel. That and I like the stealth and targeting drone I get from the set A LOT. And, hey maybe they'll buff the set someday soon (tm) and I will feel vindicated . . . yeah some day soon . . . yeah . . . <sigh>

Archery is that set for me. It's not the greatest set, though Blazing Arrow and RoA are very good! I love the animations and it works really well conceptually for my characters.

Ninja/Storm mastermind (does that count? I took one of the attacks!)

I've been thinking of trying an Archery/Radiation corruptor.

In MM, /traps.

In scrappers, /regen.

Lately it's been time manipulation for me.

It's avaliable to all my favorite ATs and it's just really, really good.

/Energy Aura or /Shield on my punchy types ( Brutes/scrappers/tanks)

Bots/ for my MMs. I like robots!

/Energy or /Devices on my Blasters.

Controllers Yeah you guessed it Illusion/ or plant/

Defenders, Corrupter and Doms I am still playing around with.

I avoid Fire.. not because it is not any good, I know it is good like on everything. You can't seem to go wrong with Fire It is like the ham of powers. But when People are like omgzfirefirefire make fire! I'm like ehhh No thanks, I'll try the Lamb instead. I am just being contrary :P

Concept some times trumps all that though! and again in the case of Plant/fire a really good Dom pairing.. it bugs me I don't want to burn my plants!

Time Manipulation has become my new obsession. Radiation Emission was my first love in this game, but I recently discovered just how beastly TM can be. It has completely renewed my love for Defenders.
