My main, my warshade. I will never be able to truly replace him.
If and once the servers go black, he will cast his host body aside and drift through space as a nictus essence. A final departure. -
Me and Stone are sitting in pocket D Freedom. GET ONLINE guys!

Sunday 4pm est. I can do that, hope to see you all there for one last ride.

Something to consider would be doing a respec.
As a tri-form it's not a bad idea to do one once you're in the mid to late 20's and focus slots in your control powers in human form (g. emanination and g. well). Specifically I found slotting g.well as a hold or frankenslotting it for damage/hold helped while leveling up to help. As anything that wasn't stunned I could throw the hold on immediately after and keep blasting away in nova, this came in handy when i'd stun most of the mob but the mezzer or sapper would be missed.
Slotting dwarf attacks as to use this form for your ST damage while you level up. This will help with your problem of always feeling like your dying, pre-eclipse. So if it comes down to you fightning stragglers with no bodies nearby, you'll have an easier time staying on your feet.
You could also consider taking any slots you put into your ST nova blasts and only slotting the cone and aoe. Thus leaving you with additional slots to put into dwarf attacks, leaving you with dwarf for ST damage, nova for aoe and human form for control at the moment.
Last but not least, inspirations. Not just managing your inspirations but using them regularly and making use of inspiration combining macros will no doubt make things easier. Anytime you have to spend combining inspirations manually, is time you should be spending finding more bodies. Hesitation will kill you.
Hope that helps. -
Quote:AFAIK domination doesn't boost WoC. I can't look at your build until I get home but one thing I will say is /dark benefits from being in melee range as the top attack chain involves both smite and MG. With the hard controls available to you and if you choose to build for permadom, most things will be lock downed relatively quickly. Between confuse and mass confusion you'll find little use from WoC as a control power.I'm in the process of leveling a Mind/Dark/Psi Dom with Fly and a focus on range. Soft-capped ranged defense so that I can Hover Dominate/Blast. There is also a focus on Confusing mobs like nobody's business, with Confuse sporting the Contagious Confusion proc, as well as fully slotted Mass Confusion and World of Confusion (for when things close into melee or I feel like diving in). My question to the Dominators of the world...does World of Confusion get boosted by Domination?

Creepers can be hard to tell if they're following you, but you should start to notice roots spawning near the enemies feet when you encounter new mobs. That's pretty much the first indicator they're about to pop up again.
They do have a duration of 120, but this is pretty easy to make permanent. They also highly benefit from damage procs If IO's are you're jam. -
Quote:Pretty much this. Nuf said? well... with ED capped Drain Psyche with 1 target and numina unique can already exceed 300% regen./Mental is the only Blaster secondary that is so good that it was left out of the i24 buffs because it would have to be weakened.
So should you take advantage of sustain or just roll /mm? Sometimes It's fun to play sub-par builds... The keyword is "sometimes", not to be confused with "often". -
Quote:I'm sorry, I can't understand most of what you just said. I'm going to assume English isnt your first language and that's fine but I think you missed my point entirely.Newsflash , then nobody means a thing do they
Perfect acceptable for us all , people who gone trough ED Global Defense , Inventions Gladiators , stupid PvP that caused more nerfs .
Ah well all those things don't mean a thing acceptable .
So no need to say welcome newbie , cause oldie and newbie don't mean a thing..
And I for one am sincerly happy with thatno sarcasme intended .
Nope and if you cannot stand the truth , then don't accept it is poor form .
If truth is no longer your interest , don't talk about winning .
Or is so important to win , that you can write your own truth .
Lmao , how far people have sunk
Forum join date often is not the same as when someone started playing the game and therefore when stone said "new person" he was referring to your presence in the kheldian forum as being new.
This was in no way to be interpreted as you being new to the game therefore had nothing to do with your forum join date.
The second part of my post was in response to your bad attitude and ignorant comment hence my " you people?" Comment. -
Quote:News flash genius, join date don't mean squat.Oh hello mister who cannot check dates .. and is full of AS S U M E .
Thank you for proving my point .
You people comments? Really? Poor form dude, this one is not winning anyone over. -
Quote:Whoa... So let me just reiterate in case I'm misunderstanding something. With the new proc changes, pseudo-pets will only be able to proc once every ten seconds regardless of the number of procs??with the new PPM thing in i24. Toggles and patches won't be able to proc more than once every ten seconds.
IIRC as it stands now every ten seconds EACH proc has a chance to go off in said powers, am I right? -
Seeing as how my search fu is weak I'm just gonna pose a question:
Has anyone tried slotting both the overwhelming force kd proc and the ragnarok kd proc in whirlpool? -
Triple damage proc'd carrion creepers are a thing of beauty to behold.

Fire/Rad Controller(s). A real bucket of synergy. Get a whole team of em, then see what they do
Imagine choking cloud + hot feet x8 plus all those debuff toggles. Oh man... *runs off to play his fire/rad*
I'll second what Dechs said about kinetics, you really do only need one per team to floor the dmg bonuses of your team, in the case of a mostly brute team I can see 2 at most if your goal is to stay at damage cap with very little downtime. Now if you were to play a large outdoor map and pair off a brute for a /kin corr into 4 groups then see how fast you could finish it, that might be interesting.
Typically though, debuff sets, particularly ones that have -res are going to noticeably stack better for clearing mobs/content. -

Quote:There's no contesting the potency of double mired nova blasts, the only advantage id have is not having to position for nova emanation while throwing aoes. If they eever make quasar crash less then Ill try to fit that in to supplement unchain and judgement. I miss having 3 nukes.Yeah but the double mire'd Nova Blasts are what makes tri form so good at AOE, it's the best AOE available to Warshades. Quasar helps too, and obviously fluffies if you can keep them alive. That's pretty hard to do on a farm map though like Stone said, and to be fair, also like Stone has already said, any type of pet is going to struggle to survive on a farm map, Lore pets included.

FWIW my warshade can cycle kd detonation and dwarf mire almost continuously with the new form shift times. Bear in mind I only do this when I'm exemplared below eclipse levels and my build does run about 165 ish recharge with hasten. My point being that I can pump out similar levels of burst aoe but can also run an optimal St chain in human form. So there's something to be said of biforms even if they are a little odd.

I would enjoy a rich array of purples and maybe reds to color my powers with. That would be neat.

MY W4RZH4D3 iz B3Z7 F4rM3R 3V4R 8R0!
woo... I really felt like this thread needed some nonsensical jabberings in l337 to really lighten the mood. Hopefully this hasn't been TOO obnoxious. -
Welcome back dood! I just came back from a break too. It seems as though egad is a little inactive these days, or at least the couple times I've logged on. But yeah were still around.

Quote:QFT. Khelds can have quite a steep learner curve, I'd wager Warshades even more so. Build and driver have such a huge impact on this AT that I feel we get a bad rap because of the difficulty to set up and efficiently play a kheld.Khelds are excellent but how well they are built and who's is driving them is an important factor, much moreso than any other AT in the game and that is in fact is part of the appeal to many drivers.
No other AT, IMO, requires the number of binds that a kheldian needs to reach peak performance at least in my experience. -
I23 and the soon to be released kb/kd IO is going to be giving me more reasons to respec yet again. A few possibilities still remain however:
Whether or not I want to drop dwarf form being used as mule currently on my "mostly human" WS,or keep it to take advantage of the instant shift back and forth. As much as I don't like my toggles switching off, having 2 taunts (provoke being one, dwarf being the other) and being able to essential decide at any given time whether i want more burst aoe (dwarf mire + dark detonation w/ kd io + unchain essence) or toggle OD and have more sustained dps for longer fights.
All this at the cost of defense toggles which wouldn't be on during the first playstyle. I'd have an easier time keeping fluffies alive no doubt but I'm not convinced the trade off of defense vs aggro control + burst dps is really worth it at this point.
This theory is nice and all from a versatility standpoint, but I could build more heavily for survivability by just going pure human form.
With all that being said I'm definitely considering making a second tri-form build.
Decisions, decisions. Either way, curbing the kb in detonation and potentially taking the melee tree of hybrid for the taunt aura is gonna make my shade even tankier than he already isAll the while, instant form shifts make me wanna throw even more money at this toon and make him a tri-form alt build.

Not to downplay willpowers effectiveness as a set, but It has to be one of the dullest powersets conceptually IMO. As much as its kind of the silly putty of defensive sets concept wise. Then again I don't play melee at all really anymore, I prefer active mitigation but to each their own. If I did roll a melee toon I'd almost definetly roll dark armor of which I'm addicted to rolling and never finishing.
