Granted that would be quite bad for "People like me", which I'm assuming means either people with super powers or people who oppose him, or both. But he also mentions that he knows what must be done to save the world, I'm guessing that once lady grey is done ripping apart his mind that knowledge will come into play with the coming storm.

I was in a bit of an unusual situation for WWD7, since my main character had run the villain-side arcs for 1-6 but was currently on hero-side (specifically, Vigilante) for badging purposes and I didn't feel like waiting until I'd switched back. For the most part it seemed to treat me as a hero, except that inside the ship on mission 3 all the NPCs gave me the "you're a villain, I hate you" version of their text, and I also had the villain version of the epilogue, and got attacked by Manticore.

It seemed pretty haphazard, but at the same time I felt my own character never really fit into the previous chapters anyway, being a career Rogue (when not badging, obviously) and not really being motivated by any applicable desires from either side of the arc.

Overall the ending seemed kind of rough and rushed, but at the same time I'm not sure how much of that was due to my odd alignment issues so I won't hold it against the writers.

I liked Wade's "Was that so wrong?" during the cutscene, because it gave a nice window to imagine how my character would respond.

The first character I ran it with, a fairly traditional hero-type, responded "If, in the process, you endanger billions? Yes, definitely."

The second character, a jaded rogue, responded "If, in the process, you piss off people who can kill you? Yes, definitely, you ****ing idiot."

Now that you mention it, his left claw-hand is pulled back very far away from the Earth yet the nimbus around his far away hand is ... in front of the Earth. Huh. (Altering perspective is fun!)

From what I'm reading there's no ignominious death of any heroes, A, B, C, or any list, blueside finds out as much as redside, and most importantly no blatant idiotball, is this actually WWD#7?

Apparently this is all about beating up the bad guy, which should be so tried and true that not even the heroes can screw it up.
