The 7th Annual Golden Age Festival!

Hey there Virtue. It's time once again to join the Golden Age Heroes in their celebration of the Golden Age of Heroism in our 7th Annual Golden Age Festival! With the Galaxy City disaster, our usual hosting ground of the Galaxy City Arena is no longer available, so for the first time in five year's were changing locations. So this time we'll be gathering on Saturday, March 3rd from 8pm-11pm EST Emerald Lobby of the Talos Island Arena.

A second Golden Age style costume contest

Event #5: Emote/Battlecry Contest
Show off your best heroic battlecry with an emote

Event #6: City of Heroes Trivia Contest
Test your knowledge of the City of Heroes/Villains World

Event #7: Best of Show
Overall winner of the 3 Costume Contests and Bio Contest.
Grand Prize: Custom Art of your character done in Timm style, by our very own Commander Crimson


Prizes galore will be rewarded and it will be a wonderful chance to meet and greet fellow true blue heroes. See you there for number 7!

Just so everyone knows, low level characters are more than welcome. For those who might have a hard time trekking "Captain Lowbie" across the Talos map, just give a yell in Broadcast when you get in-zone. We'll have someone waiting to send team invitations which will boost your characters' effective level so the nasties will leave them alone while you make the run from the monorail to the arena. Likewise, if you don't have a Pocket D shortcut or other way back to safety, we'll do the same thing when you need to leave, so your characters won't have to swim all the way around the island to avoid a trip to the hospital.

Great I have been waiting for this event since the beginning of the year. Last year's Festival was a milestone for me. Not only did I meet someone who improved my RP in viture 100%, but I won Best of Show and the art was fantastic. Velvet Phantom will be there again, as I would not mis this for all the tea in China.
