What play style do you prefer?

Hybrid. I have a low tolerance for builds that are one dimensional. Not that I won't play them, I just won't have abiding interest. The more varied the powers, the better. That said, I do like having a specialty with those Nope, no dichotomy there. I do lean toward control, then damage.

What power set(s) do you favor?

I likehaving one of everything. I favor my mind/psy dom and my fire/fire/fire dom, but I like to have any power set available.

What zones do you like the most?

Mercy Island, then Croatoa, then First ward, then Cap au Diable.

Do you usually play as a male or female (word of hatred) ''toon''?

My characters are 50/50. Though I spend more time on many of my female characters, just because some of them are more interesting.

Views on Role Playing?

I won't roleplay as an end to itself, but lean toward making certain my communication isn't uncharacteristic to the toon I'm playing. I'll say the same things I'd like to say, but with different vocabulary/tone depending on the "toon."

Hero Side... although I am much more fond of the Villain side story arcs

Blueside exclusively. Villainous ambitions simply don't resonate with me.

What play style do you prefer?
I prefer teaming, but will do missions solo if I can't find a good team to join.

In terms of ATs, scrappers used to be my favorite, but now it is brutes. I like being highly survivable and being right in the middle of the fight.

What power set(s) do you favor?
My favorite powerset combo of all time is Street Justice/Willpower.

What zones do you like the most?
Atlas Park is by far #1 for me. Next would be Steel Canyon and Talos Island. In general I prefer zones that are easy to get around in.

My current main and alt are both female. In general I like the idea of female heroes a little more, the juxtaposition of great power housed in a slender, feminine body is very appealing to me. I have male characters too, but they are less fun to watch "in action".

Views on Role Playing?
I find roleplaying a little disconcerting, even on Virtue, because it seems few others understand that I'm just roleplaying and they take a lot of what my character says too personally.

Mostly heroes, I think the split is about 55-45 or something. Have a couple praetorians knocking around, but haven't been bothered to play that content in a while now.

What play style do you prefer?
Mostly melee of some discription, gotten into Brutes a lot recently. Most of my 50s are scrappers, mind, but I still love my original fire/energy blapper to bits

What power set(s) do you favor?
Don't really favor one type of power over the other.

What zones do you like the most?
No one zone really stands out to me. Faultline and Croatoa are both pretty good, though.

Depends who I'm playing with. I've developed lengthy stories for pretty much all my characters but rarely use them outside a core group of RPers.

Pretty much exclusively Defiant. Occasionally pop onto Virtue if the mood strikes me.

I'm a villain through and through, but I'll often make my characters start off heroic because of the generally increased traffic blueside.

What play style do you prefer?

I play everything in melee, even my blaster. To quote someone from the forums (who I can't remember) "I play everything as if it has a fury bar."

What power set(s) do you favor?

My main is a Warshade. Most of my favorite characters are generally crazed damage dealers but I have a couple of buff/debuffs that I'll get on occasionally. My favorite "defensive" set is Fiery Aura, but that's my only real preference.

What zones do you like the most?

Cap Au Diable is my favorite zone in the game, if for nothing else than convenience. The market, the university, and the ferry are all right there.

I have made two female characters. One of them is a retired Spines/FA Scrapper and the other is an alt Warshade. So, male.

Views on Role Playing?

None, really. I think it's neat when people come up with interesting back stories for their characters but I can't say I support the Virtue style "Stand around Pocket D and treat COH like a fictional version of Facebook chat" roleplaying. I like to play the game, that's why I pay my subscription fee. Of course others are welcome to do what they want too, I just don't get down with all that.

I started on Protector... As of now, my main is on Freedom, and my favorite alt is on Virtue. The only other server I've given a shot is Exalted and I didn't like it.

Hero/Blue side with an occasional foray into Praetoria (though I'd make more Praetorians if I wasn't locked out of joining a supergroup and earning prestige till lvl 20.)

Ranged typically with some level of control (time manip and dark miasma have holds for example)... I do have a few melee types too though.

What power set(s) do you favor?
I'm not particular enamored with any specific set. I am more married to concepts and try to pick the powers that fit the concept. That said I DO favor bright palettes. Powersets without a bright palette option are downers to me.

I play a fairly even mix of genders. Typically in other games I play females because males tend to be ugly or neanderthal-ish looking. City of heroes is one of the few games where making a handsome looking male character is an option.

Hero. I have 3 (I think, not logged on and can't check my pwiki user page to verify) villains out of the multitude of characters I have on my "home" server.

What play style do you prefer?

Melee. The AT that I have the most of is Scrapper, but my "main" is a Tanker. I started out playing a Controller as my main, switched to a blaster, switched to a bunch of Scrappers, and then found my love for my Tanker.

What power set(s) do you favor?

Fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, and fire. I think I have a fire/ or /fire everything somewhere. Ironically, with how many fire/ or /fire characters I have, my "main" is an Inv/SS Tanker. Most of my Tankers and Brutes are actually SS, and more recently I've made quite a few StJ users.

What zones do you like the most?

Despite not really liking any of the villain groups and actually hating a couple of the missions, I always play through all of Croatoa on every character. I don't think there's any other zone I can say that about. I just like the concept and the story of the zone enough that I look past the annoyances.

I have some good memories of Brickstown when my Fire/Kin Controller was in the mid 30's. This was around issue 7 I think, so no insane amount of imps or anything. Still, with everything going for her at that point, I had no trouble taking out groups of +4's. I ended up PLing some members of my then Supergroup.

I think my new favorite zone is the new DA though. It gives me the option to continue progression on my "main" without having to deal with the iTrials. I'd much rather solo at my own pace through a good story than rush through a trial with 20+ other people. And so far, from what I've run on Beta, it is looking like a better story than I originally expected.

My main is a female. My original main was a female. My second main was a female. I don't exclusively play females though, I used to have half and half, not it's probably a 2:1 ratio. Females get better costume options imo. Being that I am a Character Artist/Designer/Modeler, I like having options.

I prefer to Role Play around a table with a group of friends. I always get into the mindset of the characters I play to some extent, but I dislike speaking in-character through the game client. Easier to RP IRL.

Guardian is my home, but with my altaholism I have characters all over the place.

Villains, but nearly balanced. All depends on my mood though with switching resulting from a needed vacation from the other side. But I'd say I have more Villains in the end.

Always with teams and usually anything but a control type or a stalker. Gimmie my Tanks, Brutes, corrupters and Masterminds!

Fire melee, Fire Armor, Stone melee, Stone armor, Dark Miasma, minions, Guns...lots of guns.

Atlas for the classic feel of being a hero. (Minus trollers) Mercy, Port Oakes and Cap Au Diable for memories of my early days in City of Villains. Pocket D for those hillarious bar fights.

I'm a redside native, so all my mains and older characters are there. It has evened out a bit in recent times.

What play style do you prefer?

I got certain characters I solo exclusively with. New story content I always run solo (or duo/trio with my brothers) a couple of times.
I like PuGs when I'm just after levels, or on certain characters that don't solo well I always PuG.
I'm also a big fan of high end TFs and the Incarnate Trials.

What power set(s) do you favor?

I like control, ranged blasts and buff/debuff sets that don't require me reapplying buffs every couple of minutes. Solo I usually prefer melee.
Dark Miasma, fire blast, energy blast, earth control, elec control are my
