I'm of the opposing viewpoint. I argued during the gunslinger 'debacle' that the two differing costume designs would have been done better had they been released as completely seperate packs divided by gender. Perhaps "Gunslinger" and "Heart of Gold". It still would have had a bit of outrage, but I think, not nearly as much, because those wanting the female version of that gunslinger outfit wouldn't have their hopes trampled upon by someone implying that the obviously very different set was intended to be "their plate."

I like the idea of costume packs and accessory packs that are gender-specific, and I think that exclusivity might work out better that way because then the costume parts can be more customizable, for example the male astronaut helmet might have different options based on the need to fit a cowboy hat underneath, while the female spacesuit helmet might have options for it so that her hairstyle can be as outrageous as possible but still allow room. (it might be taller and pointed backwards to accomodate a beehive, or bigger to accomodate an afro, etc, whereas the male astronauts might not get that luxury, and would be stuck with the helmet that fits the chief's hat). Personally I think stuff like that only adds to the game, and if females had to stick a cowboy hat on the OUTSIDE of the helmet, that'd work just fine to be fair.

Please, begin to make unique parts for both sexes again under consistent themes. Between this Chinese Dynasty and the Sash/Carnival Costume packs, things are heading down the other extreme with just as passionate resentment building for those of us who value our male characters.
After the outcry against the carnival pack I wouldn't expect it. There was a small opportunity that we'd see smaller amounts of content released more often, with little things like that tiding us over between major costume packs, but there was a backlash against it from plenty of people calling it sexist. Some demanded every single piece be ported to males, some only want the sash. They can't really agree on how much the artists should be forced to do to make it up to "the guys," and I doubt the artists are going to do the negotiating to get that sorted out. They'll just let you be angry.

I've cried like a big whiny baby for more comic book super hero costume pieces, but in light of this impressive offering, I'm going to chew on my pacifier. With the increased number of available costume slots, even I've found myself on the public identity bandwagon.

Lots of my favorite comic book super heroes have lives outside of "the life", and in the comics, I see them dressed in plainclothes a lot, actually. Modern comics, especially Marvel, lean toward a kind of exaggerated realism (a trend I enjoy), and more and more, I get to see super heroes grapple with the dilemma of whether to stop for a costume change, or jump into action in time to save a life. This happens to Peter Parker quite a lot sometimes.

And, Y'know, from one spandex-wearing super hero to another, one of my favorite super hero TV shows (Heroes, the first season), well, didn't have any tights whatsoever, and managed to uphold the classic super hero "feeling" anyhow (a phenomenal feat, if you think about it). I've seen this in the game, too. There is/was a super group on Virtue, the Jadewire I believe, that I used to see around, and their bios were all very super hero-like, but the membership seemed to lean toward plainclothes attire. I thought that was pretty cool. With the introduction of these costume pieces, I'd imagine that whole group is about to start looking even better.

I'll definitely agree to that. plainclothes attire for all characters is an awesome thing, and I can't wait to mix and match with this stuff on ALL my characters, which could take months. All from a few costume parts that people wouldn't have claimed would be that important.

I feel more or less the same way, though honestly I'd be happy if there was just a male version of the Female hat and bracers. I mean the hat doesn't even really look particularly feminine, and I much prefer it's relative simplicity to the gaudiness of the Male's helmet.

Really, that's all it'd take. The rest looks to be a version of the Bolero, a Tops with Skin option, and a Bottoms with Skin option, which men get access to none of, so really All I'd ask was or access to the two female pieces that men *could* actually wear (within the CC's categorization) to balance out that females get *Everything* that males get.

Not even close.
Maybe you're thinking of the Organic Sword?
Regardless, it is quite unique among the swords, with that peacock hilt.
I'm not much of a fan of the black engraving on the blade (I'd probably prefer a smooth blade), but whatever... I find it to be a cool design and am interested to see it in game!

I don't see why we need unique costume parts. I understand that the costume parts that are designed with the female model specifically in mind would not find a lot of use on male characters (though they would get some use), and because of the very limited use those parts would see, they don't feel it's worth the effort to port the pieces over. But aside from facial hair, I'm not sure what falls into the same category for male characters.

No it's the valykrie sword, they straightend the blade a bit, and extened the handguard.

Just cut away the excess metal from the wings on the handguard of the valkyrie sword.

Fixed that for ya!

EDIT:
Hrm... I'm home sick, fighting something off, and realized too late that that was not really the right usage of "heavy"... Ah well... It's your fault, nonetheless...

[Insert usual gripe about lack of superhero costumes. Insert usual gripe about yet more armour. Insert new(!) gripe about marketing pushing Korean streetwear style clothing to a largely western audience.]

Idea for the jeans: rather than multiple jeans with silly patterns that no-one outside of Korea will use, why not have them in different dyes/fade. You could use the same model, but the skin would be different. You could have your raw denim indigo, aged denim, your worn skater denim, you torn up wannabe-abercrombie-but-actually-looks-hobo denim, bleached, etc.

If you think no one outside of Korea would wear pants like those, you haven't traveled much, have you?
