So the writer is Mother Mayhem's plastic surgeon?

School books
You found a set of school books tucked in a backpack carried by the Freakshow Tank 'T33ch@h'Z p3t'. Inside his binder, there's a list of his classes, his homework, and what days and times he's supposed to attend something called 'Miss Francine's Primm's Secondary School'.

The one really puzzling thing, though, is how could T33ch@h'Z p3t have had such good handwriting? He didn't even have hands! It boggles the mind.

you could have it all

Then again, there wasn't a narrator.

Possiblities are :

Miss Scarlet
Mrs. Peacock
Or pretty much everyone but Mr. Green & Professor Plum, including the butler, Wadsworth.
That's how it could have happened...but what about this!

I think The Letter Writer's antagonistic attitude towards Ouroboros, noted here:

Quote:
When the time is right, I will make myself known. You will either be at my side, tearing down the enclave or you will be buried under its ruins as it falls into the sea.
...effectively rules out that it's the big blue guy standing in Ouroboros.

Also:

Quote:
Again, be cautious of those you speak to about this; the Menders are aware of my existence, but not my time or location and they would not take kindly to you associating with me.
..and:

Quote:
I say this to you because I hope, when the time comes, you will aid me against Ouroboros and the Coming Storm.

maybe, if Percy Winkly is the writer...

In all seriousness, if the Letter Writer turns out to be The CoH Player him/herself, all I can say is that all my heroes will apparently turn out in the future to be rather haughty blowhards who write like drama mamas, and that would be a radical turn in the wrong direction for each and every one of them.

So if the answer is "Surprise! The letter writer is Your Future Self writing to Your Present Self," then that is, to use the popular parlance, Teh Fail.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

That's no ordinary rabbit. That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent I ever set eyes on!

That's who I hope it is, too, GG. Been saying that for a while. It's out of left field enough to be a surprise to most people, but still uses a character firmly established in game lore. AND it's someone with a history of opposing Rularuu...

My post was a DA beta information post, not a guessing post - that's why I put "spoiler" in big red letters

Copied from another thread (with a couple corrections and clarifications), here's my theory:

Quote:
The Letter writer is the Center. Compare his speaking style from Viridian's Arc (where he clearly shows himself to be the smartest man in the room) and the the Hero Tip (in the 30s) A Cloud of Odorous Smoke (In which he claims to have given, through the Midnight Squad, the information needed to stop the shadow seed from being planted and says you should be grateful to him for keeping Requiem in check) to the style of the Writer.

There are few things we know about Center. He is a mutant, but has no combat abilities. He has been gathering powerful forces under his control (all of the old 5th column bosses) but hasn't revealed his plans for these forces (the TF's and Arcs associated with the council are about his subordinates pursuing their own agendas.) The Writer also has been gathering superhumans (Ajax and Protean at the least.)

The Writer claims to have been the one to supply the Midnight Squad with the crystal needed to access Cimerora. The Center would have a motive for getting them a crystal as a means of getting some metahumans back in time to stop Requiem (and other Nictus) from establishing such an early foothold. And he has worked through the Midnight Squad as in the tip mission above.

Also, he never invites Nemesis to anything.
It's either him or Miss Francine. Do you really think she's recruiting all those freaks just to teach them to read and love bunnies?

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.
