Wow all, the amount of vitriol on this thread makes even me blush.
Lineage II is flush with new blood, so resources had to be temporarily shifted. I'm sure worse things have happened in the world, or in a video game.
At the end of the day, I'm just happy to have an official forum at all. Yes, the logout thing is absolutely annoying as all get-out, and yes, I was just as disappointed when I discovered that the forum fix had been postponed again, but I have worse things to worry about then getting logged out of a forum these days (like finals).
In fact, I think I need to attend to a few of them

Now when the game goes down andcant play.. I get uset. When the forums are a mess its just annoying... One big exception FIX the character copy feature or move it someplace else.

Why don't they just shut the forums down and put the resources elsewhere within game?
Too many 50's to list here's a few you may know.
Slazenger, Area51, Area53, Area54, Erruption, Mind Plague, Thresher, Sheath, Broadside, Debt
So I'm supposed to be upset at minor forum problems having their fixes put off because Paragon and NCSoft share server resources?

We have always shared resources with other NCsoft products when it comes to publishing efforts such as maintenance and server publishes. This is nothing new.
There are times where we take priority over other efforts and vice versa. It's part of a company running multiple products. Obviously we're not working on L2 or Aion here at Paragon, but we understand that we're all contributing in some way to the overall success of our organization.

Even before adding an f2p option, Lineage 2 was vastly more popular than CoH. Heck, the Lineage games made up the lion's share of NCSoft's revenue for quite some time. That might still be the case, as I don't know exactly how well Aion did in South Korea, or what type of receptions GW2 and Wildstar are going to receive once they launch.
CoH is important to NCSoft for several reasons, but don't fool yourself into thinking that some relatively small forum issues - and they are just that - are more important than keeping arguably the company's flagship title running smoothly during its f2p launch.
