Cool costume pieces!

Wish I could be there...

Need.... Rulu-Shin.... costume....

I would seriously buy a costume piece set like that.

I'd assume that this is a 'costume power' rather than a 'costume set', like previous convention giveaways?

When I asked Zwillinger about an alternative way to get that special costume code last week this is the answer I got:

Besides it's basically a new source of extra money for you that you would not have otherwise had. It'd be a win-win for everyone.
Keep an eye on the Paragon Market .
Read into that what you will.

And now I can begin to finalize my plans.

Those timeslots are going to make it difficult to fit in Bacon Waffles at Holder's Country Inn, but I'm sure we'll be able to work something out.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I'm betting good money that that is a typo, and that it's a costume power, not a costume set.

The depicted character is using normal PC costume pieces in addition to new, Rularuu-themed ones. Unless they've made a new NPC who weards PC costume parts, who we haven't seen yet, and they are giving that NPC's appearance as a costume power, that promo looks to be displaying new costume pieces, not a power.

Hmmm. Just noticed that there isn't any information about any group rates or packages at the hotel? Is that an oversight or were you not able to work anything out?

From what I'm seeing on their site, these are the prices:

Garden room (one King or Queen bed) $119/night.
Deluxe room (one King bed larger room) $129/night.
Deluxe room 2 Beds (2 Queen beds) $129/night.
Executive Suite w/ Steam Shower $179/night.
Lanai Suite w/ Fireplace $199/night.
Theme Suites w/ Jacuzzi tub $199/night.

And I'll stop there before mentioning the $300/night and up Signature Suites.

They'll be in the store eventually, but only the shoes. We'd hate to have that eye clip on anything. >_>

I don't know--jacuzzi and fireplace sounds pretty hot. Could throw a heck of a post-party in there...

In any case, I can't spare the time to go all the way out to the west coast for this. Have fun, folks.

No reason to be sorry. I think people would be even more annoyed by (temporarily?) exclusive costume parts than they are these days by costume powers. On that basis, I'm glad to have been mistaken.

For what it's worth I never assumed this was a costume SET. I figured this was a costume POWER just like all the other special handout powers have been.

These are exactly the kinds of powers I suggested be sold in the Paragon Market for those who have no chance to get one of the free ones from the event. Flying cross-country with only a few weeks notice is something I imagine many people simply cannot do. *shrugs*

Just purchased my tickets! I bought one for myself and one for my fiancee, separately, because if you purchase in multiple amounts, it only allows you to choose one T-Shirt size and one Dinner choice. Strangely, it puts the buyer's name on the tickets, so they both have my name on them-- I don't see my fiancee's name anywhere in the confirmation page or the ticket. Hopefully I wasn't crazy and didn't put my name in as the attendee instead of hers.

Anyway, about the badges: we're supposed to send an email with our name, our character's name, and an image (either of us or the character). Is it okay if I use my forum name, or are you guys planning something specific to characters? Also, do I need to send two emails, one for each badge, or can I send the info in one email?

Sorry about the questions, I'm just paranoid that I'll mess something up. :P

Oh also: I think you mentioned something about some kind of pre-event the night before, any idea about when those might be? I'm picking flight times based on it.

This sounds like such a blast. Is there any chance you guys would ever do something like this on the east coast?

I mean the convention appearances and meet-n-greets are great and all, but considering that those are only a fraction of what this entails, and we have to share them with the fans of the other NCSoft games, it's really not an apples-to-apples comparison.
