Extinction of farmers?

<-- Extremely PO'd player. Where have they all gone? And before you all go "LOLGOPLAYTHEGAMENOOB" I pay my money for VIP, I choose HOW I want to play. My question is why is there a lack of farming? Maybe it's because there is now 501234123314 AP's? Why was that done again? Really?

It was done to reduce lag for everyone, which it has.

Constructive post is constructive? Yes mine's about farming, what the Dev's loathe, but really. I like to sit in a big cave farm, and afk as I lvl. So I can do other things, now I wait around for 2 hours trying to get a farmer and fail. They probably are playing the new content. There's tons of new stuff right now so most players are checking it out. I assume farming will start up more when we've played through all of it on our new powersets.

Have you tried the new low level sewer trial? It gives good xp.

And...? You do realize that exemping down earns you near the same amount of XP that you normally would get as a level 34? And since the trial last about 10-15 minutes and is being run over and over, you can still level up an alt in the 40's from running the trial over and over?

I don't understand. If you want to farm, what's stopping you?

You misunderstand, he doesn't want to farm, he wants a farmer to PL him because apparently he has better things to do than playing the game.

I don't see that at all. We can now solo with a virtual team size of 8 at whatever difficulty level we want. This was the biggest boon ever to farmers.

That's just plain sad. I got no problem with farmers. IMO they keep up a nice supply of many common items. But jeez, how lazy can you be?

lmao......lmao......This post wins for replys. You don't want farming, you want pling. learn to play. You can farm all you want on purple 8 man spawns and the devs gave us missions for it. Your time is so precious you have to be getting max xp for least effort while you do things? Just go do those things geez. Sorry if you're looking for sympathy....well not going to find much. Hope this thread keeps going for the awesome pictures though. LOL casual player. wow bad enough to make optimus facepalm.

For all you say about having the right to choose HOW you play, what you just described is you NOT playing at all. Call you what you want, but leaving the game running while you go -do other things- is not playing in any shape or form. It's letting someone else play for you.

Because the farmers have decided they don't want to farm as much.

They pay their money for VIP too, you know. They choose how THEY want to play, and if that doesn't include farming, then you're just out of luck.

Don't worry. I'm sure that once the new shiny has worn off of Time Manipulation, Beam Rifle, and Street Justice, as well as the new content, they'll be back to the old farms in no time. It's not like the Devs have staff or huge weapon melee sets in the works to disrupt farming just as soon as it starts to take off again. Right? /goldengirl
