I agree that it's a strange thing to name it after, but why does Big O make you blush?

The Japanese are fairly funny when it comes to using English in novel ways.
And they did continue the giant robot naming scheme with that (although it kinda broke down sounding right at 4...)

Maybe because deep down we've always known mathematicians were perverted.

I was blushing because I felt stupid for not knowing that was the name, not because of what "Big O" means

Also you have to take into account conservative print runs and comic shops. Comic shops are likely buying no more than double what they usually do while they have several times that coming in to pick up titles and thus why they are selling out.

As far as 2nd issue it's in the psyche of some new people to go get them and give them the benefit of the doubt. however that doesn't mean that in the long run they will sell better and might in fact sell worse considering they aren't creating habit for most of those new reader and the old reader are leaving.

Sorry but while I know you HATE the DCnU the majority of press I been reading has been positive. Just can you please stop your bashing of DC; remember this is your opinion and in reality does not matter, to me or anyone else. Just like my opinion does not matter to you or anyone else.

what the heck are you talking about... Every reviewer has been half good half bad and more or less been meh. I don't hate the DCnU. I like a number of books. It doesnt change the facts nor does it change what is likely going to happen nd what is likely going to happen and perceptions of what is happening is what I said.

Oh lordy....
Please no, no, no!
I could deal w/The Batman & Bats:TB&TB, but this... this art style just... yech!
I just have a feeling we're seeing a CGI DCAU forming here. Between the style of the GL animated and this thing... :::shudders:::

Excellent series, I preferred Series 1 to Series 2 though.
The series could have benefitted greatly from a season 3 or at least a movie to wrap it up and tie off loose ends as well as provide a few explanations.

As seems to be vaguely common with popular but sub-culture titles, its producers didn't fund a next season which could have wrapped it up. At least, that's what I recall.

(I liked it too. It was weird, but cool.)

Aye, from what I recall ratings for series 2 were a bit lower then 1 and they didn't want to fund any more.

Ironcally the studio that did this also animated the 90's Batman cartoon.

"And for us this is the end of all stories, and we can mostly say they lived happily ever after. But for them it was the beginning of the real story. All there life in this world and all there adventures in Narnia had only be the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of The Great Story which no one on earth has ever read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before" - C.S Lewis, The Last Battle.

I'll give it a wait watch and see... So far DC animated has YET to dissappoint me in any way with the HUGE exception of scheduling and Boxed sets of Legion Of Superheroes. But then that's CN / WB distribution's fault.

Also, Batman and Nightwing Katana-woman or whatever her name is are mindless, since they have no crania. Alfred does have a cranium, but he appears to be wearing a toupee for some reason. And the villains of the show appear to be the Three Little Pigs, who presumably lair in evil hideouts made of straw, wood, and reinforced concrete.

Oh, well. I've been surprised before. And even if this is as bad and silly as it looks, it's another thing for me to enjoy not liking about the Batman, whom I primarily appreciate in an "I love to hate him" way.

I believe alfred is wearing what is called a Bowler? It's a type of hat. The pig faced character as far as I know was introduced when the character Scarlet was introduced, but I may be wrong. I've not seen him before so he at least wasnt in modern age cannon till Scarlet was introduced which was within the year.

What does what happened to his parents have to do with anything?

You realize Batman originally used a gun, right?

For two or three issues. Bob Kane deep sixed the gunslinging Batman and even brought in the 'no killing' policy a little while later. so yes, he used a gun, and then they took it away. Therefore, gunslinging Batman is bad.
