Warning! Circle of Thorns Bundle is a rip off!.. By 4 whole points.
They don't cost 33 points each seperately
Always remember, we were Heroes.
I demand the devs make this up to us.
I demand Jay create us some CoT socks night nao!
When you buy the CoT Bundle, it prices each element at ~33 points each to equal 400 points.
But when you look them up separately, there almost twice as much for each piece.

Does this mean it's all just a terrible rounding error misunderstanding? That's definitely a better end result, even if initially misleading.
Clearly, we need more lasers.
You realize now they're just going to raise the price of the single pieces.

They did on my 'items purchased' after sale totals. Alas, no screenshot. But still, when you get shown 12 items listing 33 each, what do you think initial assumptions will be?

When I was working on Stormrune I settled on the pieces I wanted to use. Five of them total came to 220 points. That's when I decided I was better off buying the whole pack.

Yeah, I feel like I'm getting punished for looking daring to read my sales receipt here. Not to mention, if a sales receipt is giving inaccurate numbers, what am I supposed to trust?
So, not the problem I posted thinking. But still very much a problem.

Side note: It also doesnt help in that the market could well be set up to ignore all decimals for price points...
I think I see what you're asking for...
You'd like to see the in Market prices, and then a display of how much of a discount you received by purchasing all of the pieces together as opposed to separately.
Perceived value.
I'll pass the suggestion along and see if it's possible.

Will that result in the bundles that cost exactly the same as buying them separately will be discounted? Please?
|
Also what happens if you buy a bundle you already bought a few items from on their own?
Do they get removed form your bundle purchase?
If not could they be removed from the bundle price (at the discount cost not full cost)?
The sales receipt is giving the price each piece cost as part of a bundle. Showing you how much each cost when sold as part of the pack. Try looking at the prices in the market of the individual pieces.

Telling someone to look at the individual item prices when the bundle prices are what are being listed wrong, is not helpful. Individual item pricing should have separate pricing anyways, even if the Bundle pricing get listed accurate. Sure, 400 and 396 are both less than what the individual sales prices would add up too. But it does not change the fact the sales receipt numbers add up to something that was less than 400.
I'd have made a similar topic if the sales receipt pricing added up to more than 400, because the sales receipt would still be wrong even though I didn't lose anything.
I wouldn't have had any reason to make this topic if the sales receipt was accurate.

Yes, and when I examined and counted the sales receipt, all twelve items listed as 33 each adds up to 396 on 400 point bundle that claims you are getting a discount. Which is why I made the OP in the first place. The sales receipt is still giving false information, and gave me my reason to post.

Bleah. The "rip off" part is the part where none of the good parts were included.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
I think we are suppose dot report any bundles that are equal in price to separate purchases.

While you are on the subject of the market, Zwillinger, can you please pass on a suggestion that we can see previous purchases ? As it is now, once you have made your purchase, there's no record that we can see, we don't receive an email about the purchase either. I had to contact support to find out what I used some points on, because I believed I purchased something and didn't have access to it, only to find out I had purchased something else.

I didn't realize until after I bought it, but think about it.
The bundle costs 400 points, and claims it is at a cumulative discount.
There are 12 items in the bundle, each at costing 33 points seperatly.
33x12 = 396.
Sure, it's only a four point difference. But it's still a bundle that costs MORE than buying all the parts individually. Yeesh.
Dooooooom!
