Hathaway in Catwoman Costume

These are the first pics that I've seen of Ann Hathaway as Catwoman...I like the head piece it makes sense to have it that way (it's one whole piece, ears and mask. You can tell in one of the pics)

There are also pics of Christian Bale's new costume for Batman. I kinda like it yet kinda don't.

There are more pics as well....

Well I like it. Catwoman looks slender and simple, pretty much what I'd expect from someone who's meant to be stealthy and subtle. A 'busy' costume wouldn't look right on Catwoman in my opinion.

However, it does seem that Batman's costume is getting more and more complicated with every iteration of the franchise.

I think she's looking down - running in stiletto heels can't be easy.

Those aren't ears, they are part of the mask pushed up. the part that made them more tech looking in earlier photos.

Yeah, I like how they worked that to make it look like ears when pushed up. Keeps it true to the characters costume while still making it work in the more realistic world of these movies.

Glad I'm not the only one thinking it.

I like Catwoman's costume, it's very evocative of the 60s Newmar/Kitt/Meriwether costume without being too silly.

I like this look for her. I think both of their costumes (Batman's and Catwoman's) in these pics "match" each other from the point of view that in this stylistic setting you'd pretty much expect Catwoman to look like she does if you can accept that Batman looks like he does. They are both mostly functional/realistic outfits.

I won't go into the "there's no way a real Catwoman would wear stilettos like that in real life" thing too much because obviously this is a comic book movie so some suspension of disbelief is allowed and expected.

Well, this continuity has already had Joker dressed as a female nurse...

I wonder if Catwoman will be using a whip in this movie. Don't see one wrapped around her anywhere.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

I can see the homage. The mask does nothing much to hide the person, which I felt was better in Batman Returns, but hey, its a comic.

I get the impression they didn't fully resolve the neck flexibility issues in this latest Batman costume. Bale seems to resort to head tilts instead of neck turns.

I like the look. it fits the look for the Nolan Version of batman.

Eh, looks a little silly to me.

Also, I'm getting a strong contradiction between the utility of the non-ears and the stiletto heels.

Reserving judgement til I see the movie. I made the mistake the first time with Heath Ledger and I found I loved the movie and he was great at being the Joker. Not going to make the same mistake again.

I gotta say, i'm dissapointed. I was hoping for the goggle style Catwoman mask not this Ertha Kit look. It makes it look like a halloween costume instead of actually functional.

I really dislike the stilletos. I feel like they could have gone without that, the rest of the costume isn't bad, like many have said it's stealthy and functional. I guess my problem is the mask and shoes.

Why go to the effort of looking stealthy when you are gonna let your bright *** hair whip around and wear the worst shoes for moving in?

it looks ugly.. no style at all. Totally opposite of what Nolan supposedly was going for... especially the high heels... what stealth cat burglar would wear those?

This is pretty much how I'm going to take what I've seen of Catwoman here. Sure the thing with her stilettos and "ears" may seem a bit weird when taken out of context in these few production pics, but how this all comes to together in the finished movie will likely end up being at the very least acceptable if not pretty cool.

That's the same costume he had in The Dark Knight.

Catwoman looks ok... the stillettos are a tad on the silly side IMO.

Totally don't like it. It was a great look for Eartha but not for a modern day Catwoman. Anne has zero sex appeal for me and was a horrid choice to play Catwoman.
