Not impressed. She just doesn't fit the part. I'd rather have someone a little more unconsciously sexy, like Julie Newmar or Michelle Pfeiffer were. Anne is going to have to do the best acting of her career for me not to think of her as "romantic comedy girl/princess".
Even a more hardnose wild girl, wearing the outfit from the recent Catwoman series with combat boots and goggles, would be better.

(But yeah, Romero was pretty much my only good choice to use there since Hamill's Joker wouldn't really make sense there.)

If Batman fails to recognise Catwoman in civilian clothing I am going to call that film stupid - I don't care what they do with it. Immersion left the building.

By the way, we don't know if he'll ever get a close look at her, so it's entirely possibly he wouldn't recognize her.

I've hated the goggles look for Catwoman since the first time I saw it. It just looks silly. I'm glad they decided not to go with it.

I think the outfit is ok. I like the 'less is more' approach. However, I'm not sold on Hathaway as Catwoman in that outfit. She's slender and all, but, and I'm trying to be gentle here, she doesn't look like a villain/heroine to me. Maybe it's due to the outfit being loose fitting or maybe it's her body type. I would prefer her to tone up and tighten up certain areas of her body.
Good, then she can look like every other actress in Hollywood. I see nothing wrong with her body (and I've looked).
Clouded hasn't seen Havoc.
I like it. Looks to me like they are going with the hi-tech cat burglar approach. She probably won't even call herself Catwoman until the press or Bat's starts it. Like Goliath pointed out, the 'ears' appear to be some sort of HuD that lifts up, giving the catlike appearance and probably leading to her theme. Notice the lack of claws. I'm curious if she will even be a fighter or more of the 'is she bad or just misunderstood' route. Either way, Hathaway is hotness.

I have faith in Nolan that -he- thinks Hathaway can pull it off. That's all I really need at this point.

But then again I wasn't really sure Ledger was going to be able to pull off a good Joker either.
I'm simply going to watch and decide if she was good -after- the movie, not before.
