The composed stuff in Turtles was so much better than the cheesey rap tie-ins. :3 T-U-R-T-L-E POWER.

For Square Woot, her theme has changed over the years. Now it's currently Rox 300 from the Scott Pilgrim game:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2j51-WosUM I think the classic sound fits the character's personality than lyrics could. At least from a concept/fighting theme. I've been storyboarding her upcoming romance in the comic, and this song keeps popping up in my head:

This thread is going to be fun. >.> I love character theme songs and stuff. I'm usually the geek that quickly YouTubes any song someone has listed in their bio, whether I know them or not.

I've never figured out what Belle's theme song is. Probably something cheesy.

Teensy, though, my shortie TA/A (and Belle's younger sister) has always had the theme song "Girlfriend".

This will probably sound silly, but I've just always loved the intro to this song. Actually, the whole song. Any time I picture myself or one of my characters doing something awesome, this song is playing in my head.

While I don't really do theme songs, I do have songs that will make me think of a character 100% of the time. WARNING: LOTS OF PISSED OFF ORCHESTRA AND METAL AHEAD.

Nalrok Ath'Zim: Budget Meeting, Hans Zimmer

That song right there has been the backdrop to hundreds of thousands of "Everyone try to kill Nalrok" scenes in my head. Of course, he never loses when **** like that is playing!

Andret: Battlefield, Crystal Eyes

It's power metal about battle. Andret uses powered metal to battle. 'Nuff said.

Der Wahnsinn: Zerstören, Rammstein

Der Wahnsinn is an Intangible; that is, a physical representation of an aspect of human psyche. Since 'Der Wahnsinn' translates to 'The Insanity' his aspect is obvious. He's absolutely BATSHAT insane, and the lyrics of this song reflect it. "I MUST DESTROY; but I don't want to be a bad boy! I MUST DESTROY; but I want to be a good boy! Breaking, smashing, bashing, lashing, stomping, crushing, burning, then RUNNING! Not asking, just smashing!"

Beam Time: Smile, Crystal Method

Smile is a beautifully sad, crunchingly hard song. It fits Beam Time's overall story (something I need to finish ASAP to startle you all with the ending) and has just the right amount of tech and thought within it.

My guides:Dark Melee/Dark Armor/Soul Mastery, Illusion Control/Kinetics/Primal Forces Mastery, Electric Armor
"Dark Armor is a complete waste as a tanking set."

Here's my theme song for the Gray Huntsman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HElHrsF5JlA

Quick background:

Langston Lewis AKA The Gray Hunstman was a spy smasher operating for U.S. Military Intelligence in the 1930's and 40s.

He is perhaps best remembered for his role in foiling a 5th Column plot to bomb Philadelphia's Independence Hall in December 1941.

Lewis disappeared during the closing days of WWII while he was on the trail of a German Intelligence officer by the name of Wolfgang Ubelmann.

He was later assumed KIA.

A figure has recently appeared in Paragon City calling himself Gray Huntsman. What, if any, relationship this newcomer has to the original is currently unknown.

Paladin's themesong is usually this, which brings to my mind a lot of fierce group combat, trials, and other endgame content:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DggH6CReCNA

Hearing this song always gets me pumped up, and even RPing from time to time.

But after leading some attempts at the Underground trial lately and discovering the game's returning to "requiring" Buff/Debuff ATs/Powersets, it's become this:

Level up those Destinies!

After hearing this in Doomsday, I was hooked.

Good Thing - Fine Young Cannibals

Some of my characters have specific songs I associate with them, but so far this one just puts me in a good mood.

They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

Wonderful question. So here is a list of my characters and the current music themes:

Mariel Martog: Combichrist - Get Your Body Beat

Tiburon Ordo Malleus: And One - Military Fashion Show (original Swing Version)

Irken - Voltaire - When Your Evil

Marcy Dragon - The Electric Hellfire Club - Hellflower
(NSFW Warning: EHFC is a Satan Pop Band and not safe for people afraid of pop-Evil music)

Bhump - Alice Cooper - Space Pirates

Stan Steamer - Icon of Coil - Android
(note: this song is hard to find in a usable version, so I used the Combichrist remix on myspace, I think someone needs to do an AMV of this one.)

For me it will always be this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBwS6...eature=related

Years ago I took my MA/REG Scrapper to Creys Folly and joined a team battling Jurassik for the very first time and that was playing as we pounded on the GM. It stuck in my head as the perfect music to have going while I was engaged in combat with him and I drive DJs here in game crazy requesting it. LOL

[note .. with I play on Virtue I take absolutely no responsibility for the mental state of CAPE radio's DJ Shecky. he was crazy long before I met him hehehehe]

There was a time with my character, Xeden, that I bounced about with theme songs. A beat or a lyric caught my ear that I found fitting, and I rolled with it.

But late last year, I found the song Unicorn by Hiroyuki Sawano, and it has become the most fitting song I have come across.

When in Incarnate Trials or high-end Task/Strike Forces, the Transformers: Dark of the Moon score is pretty grand epic from beginning to end, but primarily It's Our Fight reigns supreme as my Song To Kick @$$ To.

Although, recently found, this is quickly working it's way up there...

I tend toward playlists that suggest a character without ever deciding on a theme song, but I have a few figured out.

Sulphurous - Demon summoner stuck in a body-hopping ersatz reincarnation cycle
Silversun Pickups - The Royal We
(On the rare occasions when he's more in sync with his original self, it switches to selections from Brian Carpenter's Ghost Train Orchestra.)

Spiritwise - Former undercover Syndicate member in the Powers Division, current Primal Earth vigilante
Rotersand - Exterminate Annihilate Destroy
(On a bad day, though the Dalek samples are a bit much. And ideally the Reclubbed version, but that appears not to be on YouTube.)

Ectoplasmic - Cheerful child poltergeist of sorts with memory problems
Explosions in the Sky - Welcome Ghosts and Psapp - Fickle Ghost.

Borderwalker - Is the paranormal investigator half dead or half alive?
Sammy Allen ft. Hypnogaja - I Can See Into Forever
(End theme from the game that inspired her occupation)

Yes it has that nature, but for me it hits well with Invader Zim, and since the Irken started life out inspired by invader zim, it fits him as well.

Just two theme songs:

Power of Soul by Jimi Hendrix, covered by Marcus Miller. (When I finally upload an avatar, you'll understand why.)

When I'm on my emp def, Stage of Genjuro - Demon Song (Samurai Shodown II). To me it encapsulates what it's like to have things go well, then get hairy, but survive it all anyway (let it play for 90 seconds and you'll see what I mean).
