Space-suit costumes generally don't look right without a backpack, for example. Military-themed medics likely want Red Cross logos. Not to mention all the battlesuit possibilities.

He didn't get the blue ice woman's pic imported.

And the pics of the other pieces were not cleared to be shown by marketing.

I want the giant school girl's pink backpack. Sooner, rather than later If this connects to the back properly and doesn't hang way off like the Steampunk Boiler, this will be very, very sweet. I'm not sure whom I could give this backpack to, to be honest, but I'm sure I'll think of something when the time comes.

Also, Barbarian: I was right! Both the shield and the sword are new. Coolness! I wonder if women will get either and how much they'll be scaled down, but new shields is good. We've been due for more for a long time. Also, that ring strap is new. Definitely new. Sadly, like with most Barbarian items, I want this for women, but even just for men, it's a very good detail Definitely beats the old ring strap by a mile.

I'd much rather do a simple trial for 4 people than try to amass at minimum 2 teams to do Banners again.

It's one of the new style of Trials using the LFG and TUT - they're rolling them out for sub-50 content now, starting with the new level 1-6 sewer Trial in I21.

I'm glad we're getting back items.

I hope we get some jetpack costume parts soon, because that was the #1 request for back items (after capes and wings). I remember how excited some of us got back in 2006 when Jay mentioned Positron asking him for tons of jetpack designs, only to learn that it was for purchasable temp powers, not costume parts.

Five years later, we're told we're finally getting back slot costume items. And, hey, backpacks. That's cool, I guess. But you know, a jetpack would be really, really exciting.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Ditto. Also, 4 is the magic number as far as team minimums go. It means that if 9 people want to do it, nobody gets left out, because you can just split into two groups.

Edit: That being said, I can't say I wouldn't prefer something that could be soloed (though these days I duo for most of my CoH playtime).

See, this looks awesome. Even with the exposed faces, no less.

So, why do the screen-shotted CoT NPCs (not shown here) not look anywhere near as good as the concept art? Something was definitely lost in translation there. The concepts obey the 3-point rule, they have flat spaces and subtle patterns that aren't shoved in your face...they look fitting of CoH (kudos to Davids team, once more)

They look great. The NPC models don't. Why is this?

That's what I've been hoping for as well, but at PAX Posi said there are clipping issues with jetpacks as costume pieces. Disappointing.

I did get the impression that quivers and kheldian sashes may be coming soon.

Trials for winter and Valentine's Day are also quite possible

Plus, since you only need 4, there is the possibility you can do a closed trial, turn off people joining you mid-trial, and just have the 3 other people who were padding to have you start it quit once you zone in and attempt to solo it.

I can't say this if this is possible or not, but it's way more likely a 4 person trial is as compared to an incarnate one. The new low level sewer trial could be solo'd if you are really persistent and don't mind running back from the hospital porter in-mission.

(Disclaimer: if trials log you out when everyone but the leader quits, please disregard this. I've never been inside a trial when this occurred so I don't know)

Why would I bother looking at things on the LFG tab? The LFG tab is related to teaming and I don't do that.

Use a bit of common sense before you post nonsense like that. Maybe some posters wouldn't be so harsh about your comments if you did.

The biggest differences I see are the hoods, shoulders, belt and color scheme. Other than that it's pretty much what we see in-game. The shoulders look much more like cloth and look more like they're wearing mantles rather than spiky armor. It doesn't help that they show the costumes with bright, garish colors.

This is my first harsh comment in response to one of her posts that I can recall. I've even defended her posting style here and elsewhere.

Much of the reason for my response tonight is due to her continual refusal to understand that when people say solo they don't mean that they want to be invited to a different type of team or a team of a smaller size. Or maybe she does understand and just doesn't use much common sense when typing the first thing that pops into her head.

Since she knows I don't team, even in testing, it's rather ridiculous to have thought I'd have bothered looking at what might be in the LFG tab. I leave that for people that will be willing to test teaming items.

Considering I've defended her in the past it means nothing to me that you seem to not like defending her.
