What are the new powersets in the works??

Because MY Stalker is covered in ******* DARKNESS and can teleport himself and other things THROUGH SHADOWS! He can drive a damn pick up at you and mask it as a tricycle if he wanted to. Not to mention he can mentally screw with people's senses to make them think they hear or see things they didn't.

How about taking your own lousy argument and explain what hole that Brute pulled a Crossing sign from in the middle of a crey lab in Perigrine Isle DOZENS OF MILES from any type of train tracks, Hmm?

Look, maybe you didn't realize this but, this game is called City of Heroes. I'll explain my own character concepts. I or anyone else don't require your short sighted input.

Yes! I hope there are numerous options available. I dont mind the generic type giant broadswords or claymore etc, but more options for brute style lamp post, rail road sign, sign post with big wad of concrete still stuck to it, tree branch with a blue post office mailbox impaled to it, etc. Giant ax, big warhammer also ok.

For sure though it needs some sci-fi types, like a ***** vangard color tintable blade, a giant energy blade with a different animation to it also, I picture like the greater fire sword, but a tad wider and without the "points" on the end of it, just a big flame sword we can color to fit theme- fire, blue/green/pink plasma energy, etc. I make a lot of tech heroes, so some type of freegin laser swords are high on my list.

Considering that I've never heard it mentioned as an insult until this thread, I'd say that the most common usage in this country is as a Blazing Saddles reference. And when I google it, the first few pages have only one reference to the insult version, and that's a Urban Dictionary link. There's also a restaurant chain, some kind of handicraft business, a Facebook page, and some kind of computer-related thing.

Yeah, I gotta agree that the insult is certainly NOT what I think of when I see that word.. I think of skateboarding and/or the usage of the word meaing "crazy, off the wall."

How are you supposed to be stealthy with Electric and Ice Armor? Stalkers get that.

All I see here is a lack of imagination. I can easily come up with at least one Stalker concept that works with titan weapons:

"Hiding? I'm not hiding! I'm an interdimensional traveler who can pop in and out of a 'sidereal' dimension at will. Where do you think I get those big pancake weapons from anyway? Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go beat up that gravity controller who keeps stealing my lampposts...."

There, a perfectly valid concept for a "stalker" that can use giant weapons!

That's the beauty of this game: unless there's a distinct game mechanics reason, you should [1] be able to build anything you can imagine. This includes stalkers who light themselves on fire, brutes who encase themselves in blocks of ice, and defenders who poison you because they love you.

Powersets should never be proscribed based on concept reasons alone. If there are mechanics and balance concerns, that's one thing, but don't you dare tell me what my characters can and can't do!
