Your most (ab)used Costume piece?

The belt with the "jewel" buckle. It's probably my favorite accent piece.

Why yes, you might have seen this topic.. About a year and a half ago actually.

What can I say? They look great :-)

Female face 3 - looks exactly like my youngest daughter (yes she is very pretty).

Male face 13 I believe - because it looks like me!

Lately it's been Praetorian Police boots.

I go in cycles, sometimes I'll be overusing one pices, then I'll switch to a different piece for a while.

I use the Clockwork chest detail quite a bit too. It blends nicely with one of the chest patterns, but I forget which one it is.

I wouldn't say I "abuse" them, but I tend to use the same few belts again and again, those being the "Standard" simple leather belt, the "Office" belt and the "Tactical 2" Belt. I also have a decent number of "civilian" costumes which use the trenchcoat.

Most of my characters will have at least one costume containing any of the following:

Praetorian Police Boots.
Praetorian Police Pants
Victorian Steampunk 01 (Female)
Sleeveless Uniform Jacket (Open)
Trenchcoat (often sleeveless)
Any bladed weapon users will have a Talsorian weapon (when I earn the merits. Managed to be unsubbed for a short while during the Vanguard pack period. *pouts*)
Valkyrie armoured boots/gloves.
High Collar cape (often Arcane)

Duster Hat.

I have a limited selection of faces that I think look decent (aka not the godawful messes the others are)

Probably more if I checked

Add another to the ranks of the Clockwork chest piece abusers.

I also shamelessly overuse the Resistance shoulder pieces and the PPD gloves.

Costume piece? Possibly the Jewel or Tech Tactical belts.

I notice myself duplicating colors a lot more than duplicating costume elements, even though I try to avoid it. I seem to use some shade of gold as an accent color on about 80% of my designs.

The two plain robes from the Martial Arts pack, as well as all of the original non-tattered robe designs...

Every one of my bird-things has a "standard" outfit using those pieces, in some combination with other bits. That semi-historical, Asian-influenced look has become the norm for how I think of members of their particular species/culture dressing, and no matter how different any individual character's OTHER four outfits may be, it would seem odd to me for any of them to skip the 'standard issue' look completely.

Valkyrie boots, definitely. They always look good.

But there's no denying the coolness of the Clockwork chest piece either.

Right now, it's probably the Folded Cloth belt -- my poor man's excuse for a proper Kheldian-like sash. Once Freedom launches it'll DEFINITELY be the IDF shoulders, gloves, and boots

My usual suspects...

Resistance gloves, shoulders and pants.
Round and Daddy-O glasses, dark or otherwise
Classic Steampunk Pants, Boots and Gloves (M / H)
Samurai Boots, Gloves, and Shoulders
Wedding Tux or Trenchcoat
Neck Cover face decal, or Reaper Face Detail 2

And above all, I've always had the tribal markings on 80% or more of my toons. Flames tend to be another decal that gets used a LOT...

(Future peices I'll be sure to have in the line up are Celestial and IDF costume peices, and Vanguard from lvl 1 now too.)

PS I have yet to find a toon I like having the Ascension sets on. They look too big for most of my alts... Although, I'm sure at some point I'll find a toon that looks better off with them.

Even against certain death, it matters not how or if we fight, only that we do.
