  1. As of right now, I have a lvl 12 SR/MA tanker on Exalted. Visually based of Li Mei from Mortal Mortal Kombat, she is doing a better job at surviving stuff then my DA/DM tank that went thru the same stuff. The Storm kick defense buff is a good help, but Sr seems to being a good job at tanking. I'll continue to post about it, but so far so good.

    DCnU [Spoilers!]

Was Power Girl and the JSA really cut out of the new DC?

I had some money issues so i stop purchasing all comics, letting go of Those two last, back in April?

    I feel sad.
  3. I saw the cinematic trailer, and thought of Outlaw Star. Maybe just me.
  4. Shoulder; Valkyrie 3
    Gloves; Tai Skin
    Bottoms; Armored Pads
    Blast Goggles Up
  5. Well, I only got to the character generator. Tried to create new ones cuase there was none on my login, but the system told me I did not have from to make a new one. I looked over the character selection screen/ pages and no other characters was there.
  6. Replace Soul Drain for Build Up, only thing I ask for in this set up. Far more utility for different playstyles with Build Up.
  7. My opinion, but this was not a good trailer. This is possibly becuase they cant reveal alot due to marketing. This is a weak, lazy flyball to center field compared to your other trailers, and the center fielder caught it with one hand (and didn't drop it liek other center fielders have).

Nope, they didn't get nerfed. In fact, none of the MMs got nerfed or buffed in a long time. This is just a comparison of differnet primaries. Statistics, spreadsheets. No one has ever said that Mercs are terrible in this game, they are syaing compared to the other MM primaries, they seems to be lacking. This is a balance issue, between sets.
  9. Its summer here, and i am staying in my house with the A/C, cause its 100F outside. After all, its summer in TEXAS.
This means that everyone else should be inside, playing CoH/V NOAUGH. After all, if its 100F here, then its 100F everwhere, right?

    RIGHT?
  10. Fire the writer, tell the CGI to polish it up more, less Love story and more boom.

Get some good writers, and polish the CGI effects, then ill make the determination if Ryan can do Hal. Also, if im going to pay extra for 3d, use it more then 2 scenes.

Besides, who can really say that the mitigation from knockback isn't as good as the +regen that you miss for a few seconds from RttC? Meh, whatever, Energy Blast is still a cool looking, and fun powerset.

    Haters gonna Hate.
Willpower tanks are well known for losing aggro, as thier taunt aura sucks. They have a specific reason to hate it. Most taunt auras have a taunt duration of 10 secs, RttC has it at 1 second. Thats one of the drawbacks to a well-rounded powerset.

Now I have played tankers, brutes, tanking lobsters, and even the occasional Blaster tank, the conculsion i have come up with the knockback issue is one of attitude, not powerset mechanics. The team leader made a decision, and you shouldn't worry about it, for there are many teams that love knockback, as have been said. Note the character/global and go on your way.
  12. Hate to say this, but Emma didn't develop a personality till she left the Hellfire club. I know this movie is different fromt he Marvel universe, but they did show how young charles was able to get all those girls.

Okay we have Havok, Banshee, and Beast as the core of the First class, who is going to flesh out the group, cause the X-men usually have 5 members? Also, when the next event? Might be too much, late 60s Civil rights, anti-war? Be weird and awkward, but have one of the X-men point out to Prof X how he is the MLK to the Magneto Malcolm X.
  13. Very Good movie. Charles and Erik were great, whoever did the casting on those two need a raise. Unless he did Sebastian Shaw for Kevin Bacon, then he needs to be fired. HATED Bacon as Shaw. I'd like to see how this goes, of course I said After X-men, and looked what happened.

Only saw one cameo, and this is the first Marvel movie in ages that Stan Lee wasnt in it as a Cameo. I saw the bar cameo, defintely grasped how it would happen.
  14. Yes, you can get Double Build up buffs. With my kin/nin, its BU, CS, placate, AS on bosses. Also, it has the enhanced crit chance to recharge Buildup while out of hide. Burst still crits 100% out of hide.
  15. Well, in the comics Beast went thru a secondary mutation that gave him the feline look.

As for Hisako, she is in the comics too. She wasn't as bad as she is in the anime, still she did get on my nerves. Of course, its alluded to that she will be the next Leader of the X-Men.
  16. I play a tri-form PB, so my MO is different. BAF, I usually nova form during the prison breakout and human/dwarf during the AV fights. Lambda, I
Usually in nova form as that form has the stealth IO and the manuverability to keep up with Praetor White running.
  17. Ok, Isn't Numina dead, a ghost?
If so, that means Posi likes dead people.
    Necrophilia?

    Posi, how could you?
  18. I have had no problems taking my arch/TA along many task forces and triaLs. Its not weak at all, however those that like a mix of buffs and debuffs, this isnt for you. Its also a pretty good control set, used by many controllers to help thier primaries. It can feel a slow set but when the 30s hit, you will feel powerful.

Cold is more balanced, with a mixture of buffs, debuff and controls. It is also known to be a slow starter.

Id say go for Cold or dark if you want a balanced set. Trick arrow is more active playstyle but no buffing friends. Dark is the swiss army knife of the support sets, it has the tools in the bag to do any job just up to you to use it.

    PW's war journal

I'm having similar issues with my arch/TA corrupter on triumph. Judgement slot may remain open for now as Athelfleda is just an archer, an exceptional archer, but still its all in the arrows. MOAR CHOICES for the rest of us.

    Kaboom?

and I was Running a Lambda trail went it blew up.
  21. The reason why i asked for a build and not tactics is simply as messed up build is easier to correct then tactics. Tactics are far more subjective then build advice.
  22. Well, to offer a solution we must find the problem. A current build of your character would be needed. Also, a rough idea of how much time/resources you are willing to put into this would be appreciated.

Dark/Dark corrupter is always welcomed on teams, however if you want big orange numbers quickly, this combo isnt that. Debuff sets can seem to be not contributing alot of time in normal game play, but that is the nature of steamrolling.
  23. I dont have BFR on my ice/cold and never thought otherwise about it. I can see some use for it, but with the debuff/slows in the combined set and my hatred for that animation, I skipped it.

Frostbreath is good, not great. Mine has a 5 slotted Posi set in it, and a Range IO that seems to work well for me.

Frostwork I do have, but i usually use it on squishies as the hit point bonus is of you, not the target. Got three slots in it, frankenslotting with heal/recharge
  24. As for Smoke Grenades causing aggro, that is a case of how the game handle aggro and hate with debuffs. You debuffed them, so that will cause aggro however, since the action is considered non aggro they will not take an action for it, but the game remembers this debuff and when the group is aggroed and the action isnt causeing enough of aggro/hate to counteract this you get aggroed. Castle explained this exact action long ago, but that was the gist.
  25. Right behind Director 11 in the Tin Mage TF.
