Worst places you've spawned cysts.
Right behind/beside the Arachnos Patron's in the STF.
Second mission of the Apex TF - spawned with one of the attack waves after Battle Maiden retreated the first time. We had nictus and swords tearing us to shreds while the halberds dropped RIGHT OVER THE CRYSTAL.
Good times.

The Sewers.
Because nothing says fast leveling like 8 level 3 characters fighting +3 nictus.

I could swear I've seen one a long time ago. I know cysts won't spawn that level anymore. I think when they reworked the voids to do resistible damage they also changed the spawning rules for cysts.

The cyst tunnel in ITF.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Near Aeon in the STF on a Mo-Run^^
As part of the waves of ambushes during Barracuda.
I'm with Dechs, Atlas Sewers is the worst place I've seen one spawn. I was level 6, and showing off Nova form. It was level 10, and obliterated the HALF DOZEN (or so) teams running around down there. It was a thing of sheer beauty (and terror). This was before i13, but I don't recall exactly how long ago.
Also had them spawn beside the portal in the old Infernal mission, cuz ADDS ins't a problem in that room to begin with...
Speaking of portals, you know those CoT missions with the portal to a random destination? Yeah...on the other side of one of those is bad too.
Then there are the two map locations that cause difficulty even without a Cyst: the "L" hallway with spawns on either side of the turn, AND the balcony above (hope that makes sense), and the hallway that ends with a stairwell, which opens up kind of behind/above the hallway that brought you to the stairs, and typically has 2+ spawns up there (think of a sideways U), often has a door up there too (if that helps).
Neither of these are cases where I was playing the Kheld, just on a team with one.
In a sharply angled passageway trying to ghost through the KTF mission where you just have to rescue somebody. Died twice to that one, once coming and once going from the dead end passage it turned out to be on, not so much because of the cyst, as because of the spawn of Red Caps that started shooting at me as soon as the cyst aggroed. They hit hard.
In another mission in Croatoa, something with half a dozen waves of ambushes we had to fight. As we were doing that, a friend logged on and asked for an invite. We invited him, and NEXT AMBUSH had a Cyst right on top of us, team wipe. We hadn't even realized he was on a Kheld, let alone have him enter the mission. . .

At the bottom of the Lady Winters hill on a her mission.
"My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely pretty and well preserved, but rather I will skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...WOW...What a Ride"
In the FrostFire mission, with the mob that has the key with it hidden around a corner. Team charged in, Cysts unloads..... and we all met back at the hosp in Altas.

Sewers for me as well.
The reactions from the team were a mixed bag of everything from "Ah, crap!" to "What's this thing? FACEPLANT"
One spawned in with the last wave of witches in a Katie TF, before the bug that stopped her from levelling up (Yes, I know it's fixed again).
We pulled the witches away from it, planning to clear them, then take out the cyst. For some reason, the cyst didn't have to be killed to end the mission. We killed it anyways.

Right behind Director 11 in the Tin Mage TF.
Was teamed up with two other Warshades and a Peacebringer in a Hess TF. Had to have been at least 3 of them all popping up in the last room, right in the doorway next to Burkholder.

Ugh, right next to Snaptooth during the winter event a few years ago.
Yeah, usually they aren't a big deal, but even in my limited play so far there have been times where the placement sucks.
I've been the result of:
A cyst spawning right when Battle Maiden came back in Apex.
Multiple cysts in a row during the second mission of ITF. All next to other cysts. Dangerous? Nah. Confusing, yes!
Tonight, while I didn't see it, my team says there were four cysts all in close proximity of one another in a Sister P mission (one of the outdoor sonic device ones). Didn't have to fight it, but interesting.
