Seriously getting logged out of the forum is getting pretty annoying now...

does seem the frequency has increased
I have a tendency to copy whatever it is I've written into the reply box every time before I post or preview it. It's just the easier that way when I inevitably get logged out in the middle of posting something.

I don't know if it's funny or sad that the 2nd time all day that I got logged out of the forums was when opening this thread.
It's clear that until a significant portion of the playerbase ragequits over the logout bug, NCSoft isn't going to assign dollar one to fixing it.

I want a button to push to dump a glass of ice down the back of the programmer who maintains the forums every time I get logged out. He would have had two glasses of ice down his back today from me alone so far.

In less than a month, the thread on this in tech issues and bugs will be a year old. And filled with "Three times today." "Five times today." "Four times, the last as I was coming to this thread to post this."
It's ridiculous.
As you can probably tell by my post count, I don't talk much on the forums. I have however lost a large number of posts to this bug, mainly because a lot of my posts are of a decent size and when I forget to copy them and inevitably am disconnected my usual train of thought goes "Oh $%!"£ it".
I would love a fix for this. My anticipation for such however remains between none and...well...none.
Friends are just enemies that haven't betrayed you yet.
I've forwarded this one up the chain yet again.

I've had this happen to me quite often. For a work around I keep the posting attempts in a second tab. Once I've been logged out, I go back to the original tab and log back in. Reloading the second tab, where the post was, almost always has the post still there. It's not perfect, but it keeps me less grumpy.

My sub ran out at the end of the month and I forgot to update to my new card info, oops...
Needless to say I waited a week or so before resubbing and wouldn't you know it. I log in for the 1st time in weeks, click on user CP and BAM, logged out! >_<

I didn't realise there WAS another domain, other than boards.cityofheroes.com.
I hate getting logged out of the forums. I hate that the forums are singularly incapable of remembering what I've seen, marking posts I've read (and even MY OWN posts) as new while displaying posts I've never seen before as read. This never used to happen on the old forums. They may have been slow and limited, but at least what WAS there worked.

Yeah,
I used to think people were overblowing this issue, as I never really got logged out of the forums unless I ran CCleaner, and cleared my cookies. As of today I've been logged out 4 times. Please upgrade the forums to the latest version of VB prior to the Freedom Launch. You guys are trying to put your best "face and foot" forward for this new initiative, that's all going to go to crap if new Freems and Prems who do re/subscribe can't stay logged in to post on the forums.
