Was not impressed by the Skrulls and I wonder how they will introduce Phyla-Vell while Mar-Vell has had little backstory so far.

Dunno why, but I always liked Carol Danvers as Binary

Me too since that was my 1st real introduction to the character. They could really fix this by allowing Carol to access her Binary powers only in Space. Just say it's a planet's gravity field that interferes with her ability to access the White Hole that gives her her cosmic powers.

Still not sure when season 2 will premiere, but the only vague mention is this October.

Seems Episode 1 of season 2 aired for fans at SDCC. I dunno the plot, but the Thing makes an appearance.

Remember he's gone underground to fight the skrull invasion which only he and Mockingbird know about.

True, but when he left, he was a far cry from looking like Mr. Jackson.

Maybe he went all Captain Sisko so the Skrull's couldn't impersonate him exactly?

So.. what is this, like Justice League Unlimited for Marvel?
I haven't seen the show... I'm going to assume it's in the same category of quality. Just judging from that video, however.... it makes me wonder why anyone even watches the show. Seriously, some of those drawings are atrocious. Especially that disfigured Captain America. I was drawing better proportioned characters in my junior high days.

To answer your first question: Yes, A:EMH is , in essence the Marvel JLU.

Overall designs are very Timm-verse (Superman:TAS, JL, JLU era) like. Overall the series is very good and a good number of storyarcs have paid off in this first season alone. It comes close to what JL/JLU did, but it is worth watching.

Thank you for the time...

Then go to art school, get a career in the animation industry, and make your own cartoon with better proportioned characters.

Come on now, don't you know it's the right of every person on the internet to criticize the work of others they could never do themselves?

Well actually people are entitled to not like things. Personally I don't mind the art myself, but people have different tastes.

Too many alts to list.

So you haven't seen the show, but are questioning why people watch the show? I, for one, find it to be a very good representation of the Avengers. I base that on having watched the show myself and forming my own opinion.

Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)

On a serious, less snarky note, artists typically go with those stream lined, less detailed, easier to draw designs so that it's much easier to draw a more fluid scene, especially for a show that has a lot of action. The more detailed everything is the longer it takes to draw out each scene. I remember that was one of the reasons why they chose the animation style that they did for the Spectacular Spiderman.

I am currently attending the Sullivan College of Technology and Design, getting my Bachelors Degree in Computer Graphic Design. So I'm at least part of the way there.

If you would like to see some examples of my work, I' would be more than willing to show you.

I find it interesting you people are so eager to assume I don't know what I'm talking about despite the fact that you don't even know me or what I can do. Jumping to conclusions can be fun, but you may want to look before you leap next time.

As I said from my post, that was just judging from the video that was given. I also said I assumed it was similar to JLU, which would mean that it had a simplistic (if not lazy) drawing technique but made up for it with great effects, animation and story. Of course, that last part was implied, considering it's what JLU is most known for (at least to me anyway). I apologize for the confusion.

However, I am not one to simply judge a show from a distance like this (for very long, anyway). I do plan to watch an episode at my earliest convenience.

And for those who are wondering what I found so God-awful about that drawing of Captain America.... take a look at how far out his left shoulder is. I know heroes are suppose to be broad-shouldered... but come on. That's just ridiculous.

Just finished season 1 on Netflix DVD and loved it. JLU still better, but this is a solid show.

As to the change in Fury, they could always do what JLU did for a cameo of Hal Jordan: rewritten time changed Green Lanterns from John Stewart to Hal Jordan briefly. 'Cept in the Avengers case, the change to Fury (and assumably his ancestry) would be permanent.

I'm actually looking forward to Red Skull more than Dr. Doom.

That seems needlessly complicated than just saying "I grew a beard, shaved my head, and bought a badass longcoat."
